I don't know if it's near Walmart, but it's next door to the Gun Store. It about a 15 min drive from the strip. It's very old school Italian and there is a lounge singer.
You need to make reservations by phone if you want the limo pick up and I would suggest calling at least 8 weeks ahead to get the time you want.

Just been to Stripburger and they have veggie burgers, sweet potato fries and onion strings. They also have great shakes.
Yum..onion rings...you're making me hungry at this early hour. Hope you are having lots of fun!
The onion strings are delicious and a massive amount even for 2 of us. I rarely eat chips and then only one or two, but I was tempted by the sweet potato fries although I knew I would only eat a couple of them.

What are the daylight hours in June, or put another way what time does it go dark ?.....thanks Keith
Thanks Luci. Where is it?
I have just read that you can no longer use the promo code for some of the places on r.com. One is El Segundo Sol which is part of the same group as Stripburger. The Stripburger cert is $20 for a $25 without the promo so not worth bothering with without it.
BTW the buffet at the MGM has an Early Bird price if you are there before 9am. I think it is $5 off during the week, but we got $10 off the weekend brunch. However they don't have champagne at the brunch which is unusual.
We were at the Envy Steakhouse last night and it was excellent, the steak melted in the mouth. It is also on r.com. I know it's no good for you Lesley, but others might be interested. Excellent cocktails as well. I had the Cantonese which is Stoli vodka, ginger liqueur, fresh lemon juice and fresh strawberry juice.

Sunset at about 19.40 local so dark (except for the neon!) about 8pm.
$5 ish for champagne at MGM. I think they also do $2 per glass bubbly at evening buffet. Order from waitress rather than at the entrance. Can't beat the $6 bottles of white zinfandel etc at the Orleans and Gold Coast though
Anyone using an ACG this year? We've not ordered one yet, should really get one soon in case they run out.
Got a wee trip to Malta before we start thinking about Vegas.
If you are going off strip a lot the Las Vegas Advisor MRB might be a better bet at $37 for a year's membership.

This is my first time to Vegas and I was looking at taking a trip to the Gran Canyon via a coach trip. I have found one offer Vegastours.com $74 + $5 fuel surchage per person. Can anyone suggest any other sites that might be useful please?
Also, we have one more day to decide where to go or what to do, not sure what is available but has anyone got any suggestions. I would really like to do some site seeing.
Thank you for any help you can provide .
Sue
We used Viator.com & we booked our trip to the Grand Canyon on this website, so we can recommend.. Was great, went in a plane though not by coach..
I have just read a posting all about the Grand Canyon but most people go via helicopter or Plane. I am a bad traveller and cry when I am travelling in a big plane, let alone a helicopter lol.
I understand it is a long journey but we are planning on leaving the next day free to recover I am concerned about the heat during the long journey but I am guessing the air conditioning will kick in.
Has anyone used VegasTours.com before? I am guessing they are an agency and am unsure as to who we will be travelling with.
We leave England on the 23rd May so not got much time to find the best deal.
Thanks again for your help.

My brother and SIL went on a coach trip to the grand canyon. It was a very long day, but they enjoyed it.
We are now considering taking a night helicopter ride above the strip. Having looked at the Viator site, they are offering the 90 minute trip for £42.69, is this about the right price or would we be able to get it cheaper else where.
Thanks again for your help.
Sue
I'm assuming the 90 mins is door to door from the hotel as the flight is normally only about 12-15 mins or so.

In the evening, are there singers on? etc. Out of the 7 nights we are there, I have 3 nights left to decide what to do, I think we are going to take in a show, although I am unsure as to what one yet. The other 2 nights I want to take in the Vegas experience and just wonder around. I was wondering If there will be free entertainment on that we can see?
If there is, does anyone have any suggestions. We love comedians and live bands. I have a free voucher for 4 people to see Nathan Burton (comedy magic), is this worth a visit?
Thanks once again for your help.
Sue x
I enjoyed Nathan Burton, I'm thinking it's at 4pm. There's also Big Elvis at Bill's which maybe you could see before Nathan Burton as it's very close by. Also free. We didn't manage to get free for Nathan Burton, no balcony seats left but we got the $10 upgrade, and it was actually well worth it anyway. Good show, we enjoyed it!
THIS SITE will give you an idea of which shows are available, but don't book there as they are expensive. Once you have decided which shows to see come back and someone might know of the cheapest option for tickets.
Another good site for discounted shows is Travelzoo
Do you fancy a Cirque du Soleil show? Love at the Mirage is excellent.
Legends in Concert is a good show and not expensive by Vegas standards as is Vegas! The Show.
