Just thought I'd let you know of "winter warmer" stays at the village hotels located all over the country. Normally priced at around £118 per night for a double or twin room B & B I have managed to get the whole of this weekend for that price. Also for an exra £11 between us we get dinner on the 1st night - can't fault it. Google village hotels and click on "winter warmers" half way down the right hand side of the page. PS They are classy hotels with a leisure & spa centre etc.
