This is not a complaint as such but some advice??
I booked my Virgin holiday to Barbados for next Dec some months ago.
I fancied upgrading my room and went onto manage my booking. When I pressed the upgrade room price the total was about £130 more which was slightly cheaper than the brochure price.
I went ahead and changed online but after printing an invoice I notice that the 2nd child price has rocketed by £700 but there is no aiport and resort taxes.
My question is whether they can turn round at a later date and charge it to me, if this is the case I would not have changed my original booking.
Any advice would be much appreciated, I would ring them but getting through to the Indian call centre and getting someone to understand would be hopeless.
try this email of customer services,
i have it from my complaints from when i had my wedding.

Maybe something similar in your case but until you contact them you won't know. You could do a dummy run with trying to book what you have already got and then that you changed it to. This should show you the price for the child in the upgraded room.
Well worth chatting to Virgin as they may be able simply let you revert to the previous booking or suggest another way of getting the room in a different way.
Good luck
Sue
thanks, I have contacted them and have reverted back to the original booking just to be sure.
