Alcudia - lively resort, loads of bars/restaurants, good nightlife, fantastic beach, heritage - if that's your thing - in the old town of Alcudia. Basically pretty dann good.

Viva Sunrise - good quality hotel close to those loads of bars and restaurants and nightlife.

Oh yes, and weather. Sorry forgot. Be prepared for it to be a bit up and down. Can be great, can be less so. How's that for sitting on the fence!!? If the sun's out it will still be mid 20s much of the time but chilly in the evenings.

I think this was my thread although something seems to have happened to the start of it ?

anybody previously stayed at Viva Sunrise in Alcudia? We have booked to go at easter and I was just wondering as it is so early in the season if it will be 'up and running'.

Are there any pitfalls we should know about? it all looks great in the brochure but do they mainly cater for scandinavian crowd?

I wonder if anyone can help me? We are off to VIva Sunrise in Alcudia on the 28th May for two weeks and are wondering if anyone can recommend any nice places to eat? Also is there a tabac shop near our Hotel?
