Voltage in Singapore Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Hi All.

We are going to all three in May for our honeymoon. Can anyone advise on the plug voltage at them please.
We are staying 4 nights at the Oriental, 4 nights at Shangri la KL and 8 nights Golden sands Penang. If anyone as any info/tips on any of the hotels i would be very grateful.

220 volts 50 Hz...three pin plugs just as in the UK. Might be worth joining the Shangri-La hotel groups incentive scheme before you go...it can entitle you to a host of extras.

we have been inside the Oriental and it looks very plush! Also been to have a look at the Golden Sands and its where we would stay if we return to Penang( which I'm sure we will

) We are staying in the SL at KL in the summer so will look forward to your feed back!
