From next January the bonus hours (one hour before official opening and two hours after closing) that Disney hotel guests received are to be discontinued. See story:

I cant say ill miss them, ive been quite a few times and never really been able to catch the early opens, although I do like it when they leave the parks open nice and late just for residents.
I'd still choose to stay in a Disney Resort though, just for the magic
