I know this applies to everywhere you go on holidays .. but my daughter and her boyfriend were heading back from Reus Airport last Sunday from Salou and while my daughter was paying the bus driver for their tickets, her bag/purse was grabbed by a passer by who ran off with it .. incl her phone, both their passports and all their bank cards.

YES .. she shouldn't have taken her eyes of it
YES .. they shouldn't have put their passports in one small bag .. along with their bank cards ..

But hopefully this will save some other family the resulting problems ..

they had to stay overnight in Barcelona and get to the Irish Consulate on Monday morning to arrange temporary passports at 40 euro's each as well as new return flights for 450 Euro's
