The Mijas is the Fuengirola one... I haven't been to that one but I have been to the Torremolinos park, I took took my Daughter when she was 5 not much for hewr age but loads of things for older kids/adults, I would have thought the Torremolinos and Mijas parks were similar.

we go with the kids all the time to the mijas aquapark and prefer it to the one at torremolinos, depending on the time of year can get very busy, try and get there when it first opens and you can usually get on the rides easier. a must is good sunscreen as shade while queing is limited and they wont let you on the rides wearing t shirts ,hats etc especially important for youngsters.
the kamikase ride not for the feint hearted ie me but the kids like it

Hi There,
I went to the Costa Del Sol in May. My family and I visited the aqua park while we were there. It was excellent value for money, and I would recommend taking a picnic with you, and making a full day of it.

The water park is good fun - not the biggest one I've ever been to, but the slides are great (apart from the one with the whirlpools....my 8 year old son went whizzing down it, but waited at the bottom for 20 minutes while I just round...and round...and round... until I got saved my one of the lifeguards!! How embarrassed was my son?!?!)

There is a cafe, a bar and a shop, and little 'stall' selling popcorn and freshly cooked dough-nuts, which the kids liked.

It's pretty strict regarding letting kids on the rides who are below the height restrictions (which I liked) and not letting non-swimmers in certain areas - the lifeguards kept an eye out for stuff like that - again, I liked that.

Hi, we are staying in Fuengirola in September and as I love waterparks will be planning to visit one for sure. Can anyone tell me is there much difference between the ones in Fuengirola and Torremolinos in size and rides?

Which is the best water park out of the two? the one in Torremolinos or Mijas Costa and why?

Def the one in Torr! Bigger, cleaner, better rides! Was there about 2 weeks ago. Make sure u pickup the voucher in your hotel/apt which gives u 6 euros off the entry price. They have a new ride called the Boomerang - looks like something out of "Jackass" - I didnt try it - but my 6 yr old loved it

U can buy a 2-day ticket. This is worthwhile if u go in the first week and the second (you get the return day for half price)

Hope u enjoy! Wish I was back! Will c it next year.

There is also a good one in Torre del Mar, not sure how it compares with the others mentioned in this thread as I have not been to those...

hi finches..

I've seen the one at Torre Del Mar and it looks a lot smaller than the others..

I have been to the Torremolinos one with my Daughter when she was 5, it was good and she enjoyed herself but there were a few water rides she couldn't go on as she was to small.
Found this for you.

Just noticed it says you can get the bus to both parks, will that be easy enough? there will be 4 of us so it might not be much more for a taxi can anyone advise thanks.

The one at Torromolines is very good and worth the money..the one at Mijas is for smaller children so it depends what your after..I can defo recommend the Torromolines one tho!!!

The Torre del Mar one is small and the slides are not very high. It's a nice clean park though so i'ts a good place to visit, particularly for families with younger kids who are not looking for huge slides. Having said that, my teenagers still enjoy the occasional visit, though they usually just go for a couple of hours at the end of the day. They find that is long enough and the prices sre cheaper after 4.00pm.
