Are you sure they forecast snow in May?
We had an hours snow in January last year and it was in the news headlines in the UK, even though later that same afternoon it was warm and sunny (I know because it melted our miniature snowman)
There are some mountains on Mallorca, and above a certain height there is always a chance of snow, but it never, repeats never reaches ground level other than about twice in 20 years and then only in December or January.
I notice your Tenerife connection - there's no mischief making going on here is there?
If you scroll further up the page you will see a number of postings from earlier this year which report of the weaher as it happened, and obviously it's far too early to predict what next year will be like.
