Definitely. I lived in Gumbet and the weather was always lovely at the beginning of october, it may get a bit chilly at night though so take a cardi just in case.

We have been in Bodrum in October and, as Kedi says, it can get chilly at night. If it does rain it tends to be very heavy for a short time and then everything dries up again in no time - just find a handy bar or restaurant and enjoy!! :cheers

We were in Gumbet from 22 October for two weeks last year. The weather was fantastic. We needed a cardi at night but that was all. It's a lovely time to visit as it's less crowded and people are beginning to wind down a little.

Plenty of places still open for trade in Icmeler and that was in the last week of the season, I would say at least 60% were still open. Cant help with Gumbet.

First week in October will be fine. Things start to close down about the third week in October in Gumbet. There may be one or two places already closed but there'll be plenty of places to eat and have a drink open - more and more places are staying open all year now (not a massive amount but still enough to get by). You'll have a great time.

Gumbet doesn't really start to close until the last week in October, some of the samller places may close the 2nd or 3rd week but at the beginning most places are stil open. Bodrum will still be farily busy too as lots of places stay open all year there.
