Not sure about August with the weird weather we have had in the past few years except to say, Barbados is on the edge of the hurricane belt, on average according to stats Barbados gets a brush with a hurricane every 3 years the last being Dean last year which passed within 60 miles, It only gets a direct hit on average every 27 years. The odds are in your favour but who knows.
