Haven't stayed there, but went for a day a couple of years ago. Lovely place but nothing much to do IMO. I would prefer something closer to Vegas personally.

Don't forget how simple it is to arrange your own wedding over there. Nearly all of the big casinos have their own wedding chapels and there's any amount up the strip.

We looked at quite a few in Vegas for my daughter's wedding-but in the end she just went for a very simple ceremony under the oak trees in Mount Dora Florida.

All you need to do is get a notary and a licence -usually from the court house.
There should be lots of info on the net about the where's and why's.

I'm saying this because you could be paying a company a lot of money when it really is so simple to do it yourself.

It took us just a couple of hours to arrange my daughter's wedding.

Also would recommend getting your dress over there-all of the malls have big dept stores that carry wedding gowns -such as Sears, saks, dillards and so on. You'll get plenty of choice and pay a tiny fraction of the cost back here. Plus you are not going to have to cram an expensive dress into a suitcase.

Our Vegas relatives have a condo at "The Viera", part of the Montelargo complex. While I agree it is quiet and away from Vegas hustle and bustle, it is a lovely place. When we were there last Tuesday there was a wedding taking place and the setting was simply gorgeous for the ceremony and the photos.
