The people (above all the people), the total relaxation you only get on a beach in Goa, the sunshine (cos when are we ever going to get any?), the food everything that is Goa which you can't describe just need to experience.

Like Holmes just sitting at the River View with a working fishing port one way, an amazing river scene the other, a couple of Goan's diving for oyster's from their dugout canoe, egrets, kites, red and green shanks, an osprey if you are lucky and of course kingfishers diving for there lunch all in the background, a cold beer and just chilling with Mrs and Jnr Jock as we wait for the great food to be served

In English money

5 bunches of coriander for 30p - uk a poundfor 2

same with spinach - can't understand why it is pound for a bag of spinach
when it grows wild in my dads garden in UK but they charge a quid for a blown up bag

But still counting the days to October - back in my favourite place in the world.
I can - and do - go all over the world but Goa will still be my favourite.

I miss sitting at the beach shack after the sun has gone down with a long tall drink in my hand, wiggling my toes in the sand, listening to the gentle lapping of the waves as they meet the shore and looking out at all the twinkling lights of the shacks along the shoreline and the boats out at sea. This is when I feel the most relaxed and think "what a life"! :D
