Hi there everyone..
I am getting really excited as we are coming to Egypt for the first time ever in December with Rob's diving school. There will be 34 of us descending on Taba Heights, staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel from 11th -18th December.. apart from the diving and snorkelling, could anyone please tell me what other things there are to do in Taba Heights. I have heard it is a quiet resort. Is this true? Are there any decent excursions to be had nearby? I guess the excursions will be mainly done by myself and the boy (aged 14) as we are not dive freaks.
Many thanks in advance for all replies..
I believe i've seen somewgere that you are going with Longwoods to Taba? Here is a quick list of the excursions they are offering at present.

There is also always White Canyon, trips to Dahab and / or Nuweiba-Tarabeen, Pharaohs Island by boat or road and boat, camel treks, etc etc
