I have never been to either although my mom does keep on trying to get me there(she goes to olu deniz every year and has done for the last 10 years) We are off to sharm in june so if we like it maybe we could try turkey and my mom could try egypt.

we will be going to sharm on the 14th august, myself, hubby, his brother and girlfriend.

its our first time and we are all sooooo excited. have beenreading all the posts on here and now we just cant wait!!!

we will be staying b&b at the sonesta beach hotel and plan to do the aquapark, cairo, quads and of course snorkeling.

i recently won a days trial scuba diving which im going to try before we go.

i had a terrible experience in turkey 2 years ago when we went to try scuba and there was no tuition just geared us up and threw us in !!!1 i had too many weights on my belt and they hadnt shown us how to inflate/deflate the jacket and so i sunk like a stone and went into a blind panic. since then even snorkeling gives me the jitters and i used to love that!

hopefully i can get my confidence back before we go to sharm as last year in antigua i just went to pieces every time i tried to snorkel!!!

anyways ill let you know how i get on!

it seems forever. I am really really excited.After spending all weekend on the computer i feel like i already know the place.
If i am this excited now , dont know what i will like when i have only got 7 sleeps to go.

WE hopefuly will return 7th of May

As yet no hotel booked but looks like All Inclusive
