Rob booked it this morning..basically he decided stuff it and booked anyway. He has now just sent me a text saying he is going to treat me to a night in a posh hotel in Manchester the night before...
We decided to miss out the mainland and go straight to the boat as we couldn't decide between any of the 3 main choices..so Hurghada it is to set sail for a week at sea. Ahoy me hearties!

Havent forgot that Lyn, in fact i have printed off the email that i was sent, although i am most intrigue to know what they look like, cannot find any photos, but i am told they are nearer the beach and near the saunas, so looking forward to it, i need a break, havent been on holiday since June and August, my friends say, i have more holidays than Judith Chalmers

Hi Lyn- Sunrise Island View this time. Wonder if it will match up to HSB - suspect not, but then it was heaps cheaper so I am going with an open mind and we will enjoy whatever! And it seems ages since I got back on 1st July!!!!!

Nice to see the usal suspects are still around. Just managed to get booked up for nexy June. going to the Baron palms this time. had to work hard to get a deal and had to book everything separately. never done this before so fingers crossed.

8 weeks til we go to the Mamlouk Palace, Hurghada. Never been to Egypt before ans I am still feeling a bit apprehensive after reading lots of reports of tummy upsets. Will take usual precautions and keep my fingers crossed. Looking forward to some sunshine!
I'm sure you will love it Minione the reviews look good . Expect things to be a lot more chilled than Turkey .It's a different sort of holiday . Is it just the 2 of you going .

Yes Lyn, just the two of us this time! Just hoping for a chilled week in the sun really. A colleague came back from Sharm last week and I was looking forward to hearing all about her Egypt experience but unfortunately she and her Mother in law were very ill. I am not so worried about myself to be honest, it's hubby who tends to pick things up, and we are going for his birthday which won't be much of a celebration if it's spent on the loo Seriously though I am hoping we enjoy it as I have found a hotel in Sharm I quite fancy for next year. Keep looking at Thomson prices for you know where in Olu but they have gone through the roof for next year, refuse to pay it
