I thought you would be interested in this as it happened at our Melbourne Airport the other day.

I have flown Virgin Blue MEL-DPS and they use a smaller aircraft than other airlines that make the same run (seating 3x3 and it takes longer to get there) Whether size has anything to do with the decision... I'm not qualified to comment. Interesting though.

Chatting with my husband regarding the 2 blokes being frog marched off the plane. Given the circumstances wouldn't you think Virgin Blue would unload enough luggage to the total amount of the two passengers weight, then everyone would at least get to their holiday destination... just a thought.
