Go on google earth and type in the hotel and it gives you a birds eye veiw
of anywhere in the world!

That'd be great......if GE didn't come up with so many locations for the hotel, varying between about 3 and 6 MILES apart.

Also, GE doesn't seem to recognise Belmar Shopping Centre.

I could not get it to work at all.

The Belmar Complex is close to Macdonalds on the seafront at Limassol.

It houses the Sixt car hire offices at one side of the building and Europcar on the other corner.

Coming from the Old Town, it's on your left side just after the Cantone Restaurant and the turning up to the Atlantica Oasis hotel (you should see the Castle Apartments on your left side - set back off the roadside).

Coming from Ayios Tychonas / Larnaca direction and the Mediterannean Beach hotel, it's on your right side just past the funfair and Macdonalds.

It is possible to walk from the hotel but it will take a good 20 - 30 minutes possible and all depends on what time of year it is. If it's after mid July & before end of August - take the bus or a taxi!

Thank you very much for your reply it was a great help. I think that as it is a30 min walk we may just as well collect the car from the airport.

With the British Airways discount we are getting a compact car for 7 days for £120.

I am really looking forward to seeing Cyprus again. The last time i was there was 22 years ago on my honeymoon. I bet it has changed.

I first came to Limassol for a holiday in November 1985 and moved here permanently in March 2004, after many visits during the years in between.

We saw a lot of changes over those years and even now - we get surprises!
