Can anyone advise me .. will be in Tenerife soon and want a small birthday cake. Would it be best bringing cake from UK or can I buy one overthere, staying near La Caleta. I believe there is a bakery called Duch but do they make cakes, will have a car, but do not want to venture far as don't want husband to know what I am up do.
Looked at a small cake in Tesco yesterday and surpose could get it in bags, but going to be a nightmare trying to hide it.

mercadona have a decent selection of pre made cakes
Call in to any Pasteleria (cake shop) They will make to order, or may have a selection on the day.Dont be afraid,they do speak English.
Thankyou for replies to this........well the trip tp Tenerife and the birthday have been and gone, but it was a great birthday which ended up in hubby having two cakes.
The one i got him was from the bakery as you enter HipppTrebol by Adeje, lovely cake, took it back to hotel and opened fridge to put it in an what did we find but another cake from the hotel along with bottle of bubbly.
