Where to go in October?

Hi all,

I am looking to go to the Far East in October with my girlfriend. We had originally decided upon Malaysia, that was until we were told that the weather is not so great during this month

. Can anyone suggest anywhere in the Far East where the weather can almost be guaranteed in October.

October is a very tricky month however I don't think you can wrong with Bali. Great place - very cheap when you are there. Its a stunning island. Have a look at the Bali photo album

Thanks for this. Looking at Bali and I certainly fancy it. Where else close by could I combine Bali with another holiday destination in Indonesia?

easiest place would be Singapore. However I think one of our members combined it with Kuala Lumpa. Have a look further down and you will see my Bali/Singapore trip report from the summer. I would love to return there!
