Which hotel? Choice of 4

Right, quite simply I must go to benidorm next july! Went in 2005 and 2006, loved it, not long back from bulgaria, although it was good, i missed benidorm. Mainly for the entertainment at nights.

However I cant seem to book our fabulous hotel Nereo with Direct so ive found 4 others that seem to be quite good. Only thing is i cant decide what ones best! Need to convince my other half that the hotels are ace. He isnt convinced. Ive looked at all the reviews and they are all quite good.

I was looking for people who have been to 1 or more of the following hotels and see what they recommended, mainly for walking distance to the likes of STARDUST bar etc, rather than the square.

The hotels short listed are: Rosamar, Presidente, Princesa and Dynastic. All similar priced.

What do you all think?

Maybe i should add that i will have my 6 year old son with me!

Why don't you try DIY - I'm sure you will get the Nereo with WSH, Alpharooms, Travel Republic Go2Spain, etc., and it will probably be a lot cheaper than a package. Twelve of us are going to the Nereo at the end of October for nine days, and the total cost of flights (easyJet) and hotel is £2,898. At under £250 per person, half board, I think that's pretty good.

Its something i am looking into, however, flying out of aberdeen isnt the easiest to get flights from but i will look at the sites you mentioned. Thank you. What do you book first, flights or hotel?

I've always booked my flights first and the the accomodation later.

Of the 4 hotels mentioned if you want to be central to everything then book either the Rosamar of the Presidente. Sorry I can't tell you what any of them are like as the only one I have stayed in is the Rosamar and that was 10 years ago!!

Hi Bev,
Have you tried the sol Pelicanos, you should get a free child place here. It's just along from the Rosamar and is more family orientatated than the others you have tried.

i have just booked for next feb staying at the venus flight transfers and venus £450 for 2 brochure price £738

I've just booked the hotel la perla, it is dead central and every review on tripadvisor is excellent

We only book with direct as its cheaper than the rest, cant get sol pelicanos with free child in july. Looked into DIY but cant book flights yet, its too early, plus many airline companies are pulling out of flights from aberdeen this year, ie monarch, so we are not taking the risk. We like tour companies as you get transfers too and its simpler. Well for us it is anyway!!

Think we goin to opt for Rosamar hotel, HB. Like to be that side of benidorm and its away from the hustle and bustle so its not to noisy for my son.
