Hi all
I know there is a chinese around every corner, but we just love chinese. We have tried a few, never had a bad one but some have been just passable.
In your opinion which is the best or even the worst (so we can avoid)?
Thanks
AJ
Sorry just realised you asked for the North
I must admit, its not actually a restaurant, you can see the area where they prepare the food, with a massive wok, and theres a few tables and chairs which looks like a little cafe.
It does nice food, and is really really cheap
Pagoda on Baga Road (corner of CSM Road) is really nice, we always used to go to Pagoda but for some reason changed to Kim Fah (also very good). Went back to Pagoda last week and can honestly say that the food was excellent, the restaurant itself has a better ambience than Kim Fah and the price and service excellent.
I like the Chinese just up from Barbutes, but the Tibetan near the foorball ground (just accross from it) does really good Chinese as well
Very classy!!!
Not North but Gaylin in Margao is fabulous and Palm Grove in Cavelossim mmm mmm mmmmm......
I like the Chinese just up from Barbutes,
is that the one on the right (as you walk to st. Anthony's chapel) if so dose a mean crispy duck and pancakes
andy
hakka fu chu opposite the football ground in Candolim
I think the Kim Fah takes some beating , but there are lots of good chinese restaurants.
Thanks everyone, I'm sure we'll give them all a try. Some of them I know where they are but just haven't tried them yet, so glad of recomendations.
Kim Faa is in Bagga and is brill, it is also the closest Chinese to the Marinha Dourada (I think).
Another vote for Kim Faa - it's in Baga just before Cafe Coffee Day, opposite Over The Flames which is great for tandoori food.
defo the kim faa its brilliant and the prices are ok too.maggieomx
Only chinese we been to is Kim Faa, which has always been very good. Also went to Tibetan Kitchen in Calangute, which is also very good and amazing value for money.
exactly where in Baga is kim faa - think i need to give it a try
Kim Faa is great. We were there the other week. Had two starters and two mains courses and a couple of drinks each and I think it was only about 600 rps. the food is lovely and its a nice setting. Kim Faa is on the main Baga Road across from Over the Flames.
? have not been for 2 years where is over the flames ?
Its on the main baga to calangute road. On the same road as the ronil beach hotel?
thats a very long road
