Thanks Colleen :D The name Tipsy rang a bell, but I just wanted to make sure (thought maybe I was getting confused with myself being a bit tipsy of an evening  ). I will pop in and say hello for you. I will try and get into the others as well. Will send you a wee text or photo when we are there to bring back happy memories and give you something to look forward to :D

We went to a few - stringfellows, bono's and pete's. Prefered Bono's 'cos of toilets- you could live in them and of course great company. Went to Pete's shack one day and we think he said the chef was off - it showed - the food was off. It was also hot in there and loads of flies. Everybody finds their own favourite. Must say Claudinas was always busy. Look in next time.

Colleen, just pm'd you re Arabian shack.

We spent most of our time at this one and it is fantastic. Laurie is a little sweetie!

As you go down the Beach Road in Candolim, go to the left path at the end and the Arabian is about the third one up. It is close to Bobby's Shack.

Barbeque nights are very good and are held at different shacks on different nights.

We found most shacks similar with some specialising in different areas:

Big Banana - Good full english in the morning and very busy all day with people from the UK.

Loveshack: We only walked past it but it had a pile of childrens toys for customers to play with. Ideal for kids

Our favourite for a peaceful relaxing atmosphere was Angel heart. They pride themselves on cleanliness, organic food and a hassle free atmosphere.

The best food was on Morjim at a place called Cafe del Mar (friends of Le Jardin on holiday street).

There are only a few shacks at Morjim and i would stay away from the first two as you walk from the car park/stalls. They have a bit of a back hander situation going with visiting taxis and there food was the only bad food that we had the whole holiday.

We use Claudina's in Candolim, been there for the last 3 years, know all the staff really well and the food is really nice ! Had many a late night drinking session there and they always make sure we get home safe which is nice !!

We also try other shacks but use Claudina's as a general meeting point for everyone !

I'll be there in 5 days !!! This week is dragging !!!

We also used Jolly Jacks several times, nice people, nice food and good service. The only drawback was their staff constantly trying to sell stuff. Best thing there was Peppi who works in their beauty salon, what a lovely girl. I have never met anybody so keen to learn. During the monsoon season she goes to college to learn her trade and get qualifications, this year she will be doing hairdressing. Try her for threading, she is brilliant and soooo cheap

The best shack is Bobbys on baga beach, all the staff are so friendly and helpful :D . When i first went to goa it was a big culture shock to me because i was 15, but they all helped me settle in and ive been going back there ever since and hopefully will continue to in the future.

The best shack to use is St Anthonys on baga beach near the river. the staff are realy friendly and cant do enough for you. it is relaxing and fun there! great food as well! I Recommend everyone to try it :D :D

Yes the boys at St Anthonys are nice, will pop in next week and see you for a drink ( you as well Dribyar!), however, I still much prefer the Oceanic and go almost every day :D
This time I am definitely going along to Calangute beach and pop into one or two that Irishcolleen has mentioned (although I think one of them, Tipsy shack has since closed?) and will wander along to Candolim as well. Ive heard Baywatch Shack is good, its along at Sinquerim I think, has anyone been there?
