Just had my currency - Think I had a reasonable rate at the Post Office- 391 USD for £250.45. This time next week we'll probably be having lunch at a lovely canal side pub in Newbury, on route to Gatwick airport, for our flight the following day. Roll on - can't come quick enough now.
woop i've just changed my holiday haha!! i had read not so good reviews about where i'd booked for so i relented and paid my amendment fees and now i'm going where i wanted to...costa del sol! moved it forward a week aswell, so its 13th june 2010 i'm off...40 something weeks to go!! i'm too excited now haha!

Just spent the last hour or so, starting to pack for real- already done a dummy run
I've got all our swimwear, bags, underwear and shoes in. My dresses have been ironed and are hanging ready to be packed closer to the date. Hubby's trousers and shirts are needing to be ironed- might do some later. I've just realized that both mine and hubby's hand luggage is too big. The limit on size is quite small really. How come I see some people taking small cases for hand luggage? Hubby's going to have to take a small bag and I'm risking taking my holdall as it's only 5 cms too long. If the worst comes to the worst, it isn't very heavy so it can be checked in.Yes, I'm really excited - haven't slept properly for a couple of weeks.
We go next Monday, just want to get my sons hospital appointment out the way tomorrow (hoping he has a smaller plastercast fitted) then I shall start to get excited.
Kids are really excited It's the first time we've been abroad in the main summer holidays and looking at our weather at the moment I think we did the right thing!
Hopefully this time next week we'll all be destressing and tanning nicely! Oh and piling on the lbs as we're all inclusive!
