Yay, I no longer have to wait until August for my Turkey "fix" I have just booked a week for the end of May.Nine weeks and counting.

So after thinking I wouldn't be back in Turkey, holiday booked for July 26th-August 6th as part of my Dads time-share trial at Club La Costa Allonioum Beach near Buzbek Bay.

It's my fifth year in a row now, of course the only thing I'll be thinking is probably how expensive each year has got in terms of food/drink costs! At least the country is still nice though.

Well we weren't going to be visiting Turkey this year as my husband wanted to try somewhere new but I couldn't bear the thought of not going back so I have booked us a cheap week away at the end of October

We are still going to try somewhere new in the summer but at least I will get my annual Turkey trip in

Im off to marmaris on may 26th for 2 weeks, staying at club evin.
This will be my first time to Turkey & cant wait!!

Just paid the final part of our holiday to Julian Club, Marmaris - 27th June for 2 weeks. Yippee, the countdown has started.

We are going back to Turkey, staying at the Marmaris Palace in Icmeler, on 15 April for 16 nights. Our first visit to Turkey for over 10 years. I am sure we will see a difference but we are looking forward to it. Hope the weather will be okay though, have never been so early.

I've been off for two weeks finishing off winter leave from work but this Thursday going straight in to book two weeks off for June.
Same situ as you Kedi Yavrusu.. my husband wanted to try somewhere else but he kept itching toward Turkey and our son whose 11 is so in love with Turkey he was nearly in tears.
Doing a D.I.Y. hol again, luggage, rtn flights, b&b hotel(which we always prefer) transfers 12nts for 3 = £753.. no in flight meals though as we can't stand them.
So really can't wait just 13 weeks away!

Going to Bodrum this time, never been there before and will visit Turgetreis and Gumbet whilst there and probably stop over the nt in each.

And may i say BrenLiz we stayed in Marmaris in the April on our first ever visit to Turkey and we found it nice and warm.
It's not the hottest time but around 25* not bad.
So here's to Turkey!

I'm off to the Melas Hotel in Lara Beach on thu 14th for a week. 5* AI for 4 of us just booked £1361 at Thomas Cook all in, cant be bad! Please dont tell me this hotel is a dive (in fat, do I would rather know).

Anyone been to Lara Beach or the Melas before? It looks quite nice in the brouchure, except the structure of the hotel itself does look a bit ugly!

You might find members hotel reviews for the Melas as well as resort reports for the Lara Beach area.

Thanks MOD, unfortunately the MELAS I am going to doesnt appear on your Hotel list. There are 3 MELAS in Turkey - The RESORT, The HOLIDAY VILLAGE and The HOTEL in LARA. It's the HOTEL I am going to. The RESORT and HOLIDAY VILLAGE are the only ones listed, unless I am missing something?
