I have!!!! For my fingers and toes.
They are fab and save you packing nail varnish and they match every outfit!! (french manicured)
I got my finger nails done professsionally last year and my own nails were ruined, took months to grow back. Now I just buy falsies.
For my finger nails I buy the pre-glued ones but still add a dab of nail glue just to make sure they last.
Always take the spares and the glue with you incase you lose any. I wear them all during summer, even at home.
Superdrug are doing 3pkts for 2 just now.
If you had them done proffesionally last year, you should of went back and had them removed proffessinally and they would'nt of been ruined. I have a job where my nails cannot be long so I always have acrylic nail extensions for my holidays. The false ones never stay on too long for me
Never heard of falsies for your toes though, I had mine french manicured and they looked fab.
Boots and Superdrug do toe falsies!!!!!
what is it with women and false nails
Les B as i stated above, I have to wear my nails short at work, as I work in the food industry. So no I can't grow them.
I can't explain why I entered into this thread!
I would love to grow them Les but my job doesn't allow for long nails. Also, in my profession I wash my hands at least 30++ times a day so they tend to break easily.
I've grown them now though, although they keep breaking but they just grow back, quite quick aswell!

I think we've guessed why you made your way in here
A girl at work had them on and granted they do look nice but after she had them her nails were all discloured.
yeah my nails went a sort of yellow colour for a few days afterwards!
If you have decent nails but can't grow them for work etc. etc. then you can have them silk wrapped which is much better for your nails and far more natural looking and they last forever

just cant see the point of them
There's nothing False about me except my age
les
wouldnt have a clue what they look like underneath as they have never been off in all that time but as my nails were so disgusting before I had nothing to loose.
lyn
Leanne . what sort of nails did you have done . doesnt sound like they were acrylic
Have them done quite regularly now since my own nails have never really recovered and I don't like having to look at my now own stumpy, weak nails.
Have had them off this time for two months, just to let my nails breathe, but having them done again really soon. Nice French Manicured ones.
Haven't got anything else false though.
I've heard so many bad reports about falsh nails that I would never have them done - like Fiona my friend at work had terrible problems with ridging as says it's the worst thing she ever did. No offence but to be honest I'm not a fan of how they look - I've never seen any natural looking ones. (no sniggering at the back there Chivas!!)
I have thought about getting them done for my holiday, but I am too scared to ruin my nails.
If I look after them and don't let them grow too long my nails are almost as good as falsies.
I keep them short and plan ahead for the occasions I really need to grow them. Then manicure them a few times a week and let them grow over a 3 week period. Then I get a week or two of nice nails before they start breaking.
Yeah they were definately acrylic nails! was told when i went into salon to complain about them when i got back that i should have told them i was going on holiday because then they wouldn't have done them, or warned me they might melt and come off! couldn't have been very professional if yours have lasted 4 years! although i did tell them the reason i wanted them and we had a big discussion about my holiday they wouldn't accept the blame, just said i hadn't mentioned it haha!
Leanne, if you used insect repellant or insect repelant sunscreen/aftersun it would of been this and not the heat/sun. I only ever had bother with mine the once and that was the year i used the above.
