I know it's only feb. but we've decided we can't stand another winter in this country! We're both retired and early 60's and are thinking of renting an apartment in Tenerife for a month or so next winter. Haven't been there before and would welcome any advice. We would be looking for something really well equiped with all home comforts and in an area with plenty of resturants, shops etc but not all english, we like little spanish tapas bars and don't want to be on a complex. Any suggests would be appreciated.
Katy
You might like the area, but I am afraid all the apartments are on complexes. They do however, come with nice pools and sunbathing areas, which an apartment not in a complex may not have
You could try http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk. Don't know of any other apartment services which offer non complex ones
Good luck
Hi katy we stayed at Victoria court 1 in los cristianos over xmas and new yr apartments privately owned so you get all the home comforts you need ie washing machine all English channels really homely on a quiet complex 5 min walk to the beach you have restaurants and bars 5 min walk but in a peaceful location heated pool cannot reccomend these apartments enough you could try owners-direct or just Google Victoria court
Thanks for your replies, we prefer privately owned places because they're generally better equipped which you need if going for a month or so.
Think you will find that the majority if not all privately owned apartments are on complexes
