I found the best beach which was totally deserted - had it all to myself. Perfect snorkelling. Perfect sand.
Not gonna tell you where it is though....wanna keep it peaceful!
Ok a hint, its in Central America.

I prefer small coves to a wide expanse of beach. My favourite so far are:-
Cala Mondrago, Mallorca
Hope Cove, Devon

bavaro beach, east coast dominican republic - gorgeous..
Santa Monica Beach in California if only for looking out all the bits we have seen in movies.
There are four for me:
Porto Colom in Majorca - a beautiful little bay. Words can't describe this place, it's the home of so many memories
An unnamed beach in Florida- kinda near Port Charlotte. Wouldn't know how to get there again, but it was amazing (and empty). The biggest shells I've ever seen!
A beach near Argassi in Zakynthos- Nothing but a beach, a sandbank further out, and a little bar with the best cheese toasties I've ever tasted.
Chidoek, or "Seaton" in Dorset- the most beautiful peak on the south coast, with fabulous fossiling, waves, stars (at night) and a beautiful night view of Lyme Regis.
