My daughter and I are going to Turkey on the 16th October all incl. and are aware that we might have to pay £20 deposit each in case we lose the wristbands. Does anyone know whether we would have to pay for that in Turkish Liras, or sterling. Also, have heard reports that sometimes guests have been charged £100 before being taken to their rooms to make sure their extra bill is paid at the end... what on earth is that all about? Sounds like either a rip off or a safety net for the hotel.... has anyone else had that experience. We are not likely to run up that kind of bill at the end of a week and are a bit reluctant to hand that sort of money over. In fact, my daughter says she wont do it.. I can see us sleeping on the beach!!
