We're at The Coral Hilton Nuweiba this year for Xmas. Paid under £400 each all inclusive. Left on December 23rd last year after a week there and am looking forward to feeling the sand between my toes this Xmas day, and not just what comes back in my shoes...

me and my boyfriend have booked to go to the coral sea resort on 22nd dec for 2 weeks AI- we have never been away for xmas and new year before and cant wait.
does anybody know what the weather will be like? any tips for eating out, nightlife, trips etc?

Its the Longwood flight on the 19th December for 1 week. Comes back boxing day, so I must try not to be too hungover...

Booked it through Jetline and got about £40 off the Longwood price, though...

We stayed at the Beach Albatros last year and really loved it! It was in June and the weather was fabulous. Have seen several reports since by people who did not exactly enthuse about the place. Personally, I found the views from the hotel, magnificent! Snorkelling ten out of ten! Food, about seven out of ten, pizzas at the beach bar 10/10! Entertainment was rubbish but thats the same everywhere at all-inclusive hotels. We had one of their little bungalow appartments with two bedrooms and a lounge AND 3 a/c units! Bliss!!

Spent last Xmas and New Year at The Coral Hilton in Nuweiba. Absolutely faultless, but then, I am known to rather favour that hotel! Would love to return this year but trying to juggle school holidays and army college leave is proving to be a nightmare!!!

Can anyone tell me if what the weather is roughly aroundXmas and New Year, i just got back and loved it soo much i want to go back for two weeks over that period. Are the shops/bars still open and are there any special religious activities i should be aware of around this period? Any advice would be appreciated.

Sharm is the best place i have ever been, loved it!!
