Can you buy peroxide in the chemist lynn. Isnt that what woman used to use on their hair to bleach it . wonder how much it is . Were yours fresh stains . mine are a mixture . mostly hubbys and sons T shirts but some are from our recent holiday and some older . All have already been washed and dried
Napisan might be worth a try too . Im sure Ive seen that in Tescos
ps. Actually now Ive brought them in from the washing line some of them dont look too bad and something seems to have worked in places . So might have another go with the vinegar or asprin on the ones where I can see some improvement . will go and dig out an old toothbrush and give them a good scrub. nothing to loose .
The peroxide tip was on another site. Woman who used it said it worked. I dont know if it did or not as luckily enough I dont have that problem.
You can get peroxide from chemists.
I hope you find a solution
Lynn
Personally I wouldn't use a 'colour' or liquid detergent to deal with this type of stain as neither contain bleach.
I'm self employed and totally independent though I do receive free training from Procter and Gamble (manufacturers of Ariel), for further help and advice it may be worth trying their helpline on 0800 028 3393.

Thanks for that insight into the washing powder and Deodorant Andy. We all use either sure or rightguard deo and I normally use a bio liquid detergent .
I think you might find it is the rightguard. I have had this problem on and off for years.
hmmm .Thanks Biff . The boys like it because it seems to do a good job but I will give the Mitcham a go.
Just been through all my holiday clothes and sprayed them all at the underarms with vinegar/water mix (Drenched them to be honest!) left them for about an hour and now washing them through - will let you know how i get on!
Fingers crossed they will survive to fight another holiday!
