Me and my girlfriend (both mid twenties) are looking to go abroad mid June 2006. have toyed with Algarve, Costa Dorada among others. unsure though.
Ideally we want something that will let us chill & soak up sun in a bit of peace during day, with a bit of liveliness at night (altho not as lively as somewhere like Napa as I did that last year!). Basically something ideal for young couples.
does anyone have any ideas (Algarve or otherwise) of places/resorts to consider?
All help greatly appreciated.

i would recommend turkey (marmaris) this is great for the beach in the day, some wicked trips to go on, good shopping, livley place but not like napa. the people are the best, they are so friendly you come home thinking u have known them all your life. a brill place for young couples and familys.
i just got back from salou. stayed in costa dorada palace hotel. good hotel for sunbathing. an salou has got night life if you want it.
