Salou (costa Dorada) would suit a young couple, its also good for families, lovely beaches to chill during the day. It has lots of bars, restaurants,pubs, clubs with some staying open til very late or early depends which way you look at it (some did`nt close til 5 or 6 am) The clubs are not all "in your face" the way they are in Ayia Napa, Kavos etc... as its not an 18-30 resort.
There is loads to do too, Port Aventura is here, 2 waterparks, plenty of trips to do, boat trips, etc.... Shop til you drop there are loads and loads of shops here too.

We went to Praia da Rocha on the Algarve a couple of years ago. Nice beach (although you have to go down the cliffs to get to it - which means climbing up again afterwards!!). Lots of bars, clubs and restaurants - it did seem very lively at night. We were woken up several times by people coming home noisily in the early hours

Not cheap but how about Marbella? Very cosmopolitan, great nightlife without drunken Brits vomitting in the streets!

my mate and her boyf have just booked halkadiki; their 2nd holiday together, last year they went to greece as well, she said it was cheep enough, some nightlife, not loads though, no drunkenly sick teeny-boppers... ideal

My fiance and I went to Gumbet in Turkey last June and it was FANTASTIC!! We stayed in the Magnific Hotel were at that time of year it was mainly young couples.

The days were very lazy- the hotel was right on the beach and the evenings were whatever we wanted them to be- anything from a quiet meal overlooking the resort to chilling the the hotel poolside bar to crazy nights drinking in the numurous bars in the town!

We are actually considering going back next year!!
