going to the zante beach hotel on the 21st august, anyone going about that time

We are off to kalamaki next week 13th august. My wife has just broken a bone in her foot. So we will just have to make the best of our holiday.As what we had planned on doing most will be out. As neither of us drive. so will be relying on local transport now.Maybe a trip or 2 if she feels up to it.

We are going to the Plaza Pallas in September is there a map that shows us the location. Also any good trips or advice would be great not been to Zante before but love the Greek people

You will love the Plaza Pallas its great . I went twice last year and am going again 1st October . Its facing bowl them over , and round the corner from popeyes restaurant . Your well situated for all tsilivi has to offer and the beach is very close .

You going s/c or h/b ??? we went h/b if you do you have your meals at the restaurant attached to the hotel the olive garden the food is lovely !!!! Esp the lamb kleftiko my mouth is watering just thinking about it ......

We went on the island tour which is good , the boat trip to turtle island when we went in August apparently we had missed the turtles they swim away ........ we also went on the boat trip to see the shipwreck its stunning !!! also went to kefalonia for the day lovely trip but tiring .

you will love tsilivi and the plaza pallas I am sure most guests who go there go back time and time again........

Does anybody know what the most money you can withdraw in one transaction at a cash machine in Zante?

When we were there last week we used the cash machines in Alykanas, we usually take 2 or 300 euros out at a time but I am sure it goes up to 500 euros. The rate in resort was 1.10 but we were getting between 1.16 - 1.17 from the ATM. Hope this helps. Di.

Excited this time tomorrow we will be in our Hotel in Kalamaki !! Hope its as great as everyone says it is for our fist visit to Greece !!!!!

Have booked two weeks in the Paradise Studios in Alikes in Spetember next year. I was wondering if anybody had been there and any good places to eat and tavernas

well i must say the wife and i had a great time in kalamaki .it was our first visit we loved it.will go back again in the fututre.we got back late last night we were lucky to have out flights on time both ways.

Does anyone know how much by taxi?

Not sure, I'm sorry. It shouldn't be very much as we did it on hired motorbikes and it wasn't far (from what I can remember).

going to zante in the school holidays in october and some one has told me that there is not much open at this time does any one no if this is true

Has anyone come back from Zante this month?. Wondered what the weather had been like because it looks like rain at the moment. I am going there on 27th for a week.

We stayed in Tsvilli Admirals a couple of years ago and are looking to go there again next year, liked where it was situated but have heard some bad reports about the hotel this year so we are considering staying at the Plaza Pallas. What we would like to know is how far away from Admirals is the Plaza Pallas. Is it down the end where Popeyes is?
