This was our first holiday in Bulgaria.

On arrival we were very pleased with the hotel, it was spotless and our room was spacious and comfortable. The maid was brilliant she thoroughly cleaned our rooms daily, and towels were changed daily.

Meal times were somewhat chaotic, hunting the cutlery, finding a clean table etc, The food was very average, despite the posters promoting, Bulgarian, Italian, and Mexican evenings, all the food was much of a muchness. Everyone within the family experienced the trots, and there was not one person that we spoke to in the hotel that didn't get it. However the local chemists do have a good supply of Imodium, I am pleased to say.

The entertainment was rare but the "Sparrows" show was brilliant.

The reception staff and porters were very friendly and helpful, but the staff in the restaurant were ok.

The Hotel Atlas was very impressionable, I don't think I have been abroad and had such cleanliness. when you arrive you are met by Porters who take your luggage for you. It is very modern and airy. The maid was excellent changed towels frequently and kept everything in its place. The room was lovely again very modern, you can get two adults and two children in but you are all in the same room. The staff in the Restuarant were very pleasant, as soon as there was a spillage the cleaners were straight there to mop it up. The cleaners kept the pool toilets immaculate all day, in fact they worked 24/7. We always found something to eat, none of us were ever ill. The pool area is not big enough for the hotel, sunbeds were reserved very early in the morning. The pool is absolutely freezing, it never warms up. The weather was not very good when we were there, It rained almost every day for two weeks, it was nice in the morning and anytime after 2pm it rained, we had two days where it rained all day and night which I would not have expected for the first two weeks in August. Resort is great there is a great rock singer who plays every night in a bar next to the Indian Restaurant. I would definately go back and have booked for Bulgaria next year.

The hotel was in a great location at the rear of the resort. It was quiet and we weren't disturbed by noise. It was in easy walking distance of other restaurants and the beach.

The hotel pool was far too small for the amount of guests and there were very few sunbeds. The ones that there were usually had towels on them by 8am.

There was always plenty of food and choice available which was always served hot, but usually went cool by the time we found a table that was cleared. There was always a hunt to find clean cutlery. Several times we ordered drinks with our meal and were charged a different amount each time!

There was a great area for outdoor entertainment, but unfortunately it was only available 3 times during our two weeks stay.

A lot more could be made of this hotel.

The hotel was clean and well ordered. However the food was very poor. The same food was served every day. The food was cold. There wasn't enough staff on duty to cope with the number of guests at meal times. Consequently there were long queues to obtain your food.
The lunches, which were not included in the holiday price, were good.
There wasn't any entertainment at the hotel.
The pool was too small to cope with the number of guests. There wasn't enough space for everybody.
I raised my complaints with the hotel management, but my comments fell on deaf ears.
The hotel was geared to the Germans. Only 10% of the guests were British.
The hotel was too far away from the centre of the resort and beach.(20 minutes walk)
I can not recommend this hotel. I will not be going there again.
