We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Globus Hotel. A party of 14 of us and we enjoyed it very much. The bar staff at the poolside bar, Angel and Bobbie were brilliant, very friendly and would do anything for you. They even made us toast and jam, and chip butties, when we explained what they were. The hotel food is not very edible, but I don't think it was in any of the hotels, I think they need a few more years to master the food. Brilliant resort, brilliant hotel and we would all definately go again

The hotel was generally very clean throughout. I'd agree with one other review in that the pool toilets weren't the best & there was often no paper in any of the toilets outside of your own room. Our cleaner was excellent.
The hotel food was as bad if not worse than we had been warned. Don't expect to eat an 'English' cooked breakfast. The quality & choice of food on offer - not just for one meal time, but every meal time - was a disgrace.
The excuse offered was that 'this is Bulgaria'. The hotel appears to be just lazy in encouraging people to eat in & offers no choice. We witnessed numerous complaints. Numbers in the restaurant dwindled very quickly; numerous people chose to eat out, especially at night. Watch out for the 'hot' meats in gravy/sauce (pork /chicken/beef) at night. They were often barely warm and caused a lot of grief during our stay. There were numerous cases of food poisoning during our stay. Most people blamed the hotel, but it's difficult to pinpoint a cause as it is just as likely that it could have originated from outside the hotel.
The hotel had no entertainment on offer. The indoor bar adjacent the pool was very good and bar staff friendly. Hotel staff in the south wing were very dour & unhelpful.
I would only go back on a self catering basis purely because of the poor meals on offer.
The pool areas are good - it was a shame that the indoor pool was freezing as it seemed such a waste & was very under used.

This hotel has a superb location with all ammenities right on your door step. Couldn't be better.
The food however could be! The pits. Breakfast so so and dinner no no!
The staff were friendly but English was poor behind the reception desk. There is no entertainment but at night you can sit on the terrrace and have a lovely view of people passing with no cars(except mini golf cars). Shops and restraunts face you which all our party of 14 in all thought was great. Music played in these restraunts could be heard. The music was fine and not overpowering. There was also a great hairdresser facing the hotel.
We all enjoyed the Pirates adventure and Khans Tent. Another great eveing was the gypsy night which you could walk to in 15mins and enjoy a free show with food and drink at great prices. When we arrived we celebrated my neices birthday and food pizza, chips and drinks for all of us including the hotel making us an ice cream birthday cake only cost Thirty Five pounds. There is also an internet cafe in the hotel and only cost 5 Lev for the hour and 10 for 3 hours this was a godsend as there is plenty of computers and grave the adults time to sit without the kids for a couple of hours after dinner.

the globus is a clean modern hotel.The food wasnt great and lacked variety,therefore although we where halfboard we ate out.The hotel is in the centre of sunnybeach right next to beach.The staff in hotel where mostly very nice and helpful although when we where checkingout we where informed we would have to pay 78leva for a dirty sheet maid said came off one of the beds the day before we where leaving.But as we pointed out the maid haddent even came into our room that day as bin was overflowing,no clean towels etc she must have put down wrong room number,they wouldnt listen and said that one of the kids must have had a fake tatoo,which they haddent.We found this very stressful as we tried to sort the mistake out.We however where warned about the sheet scam{as i like to call it}while lazing at the pool one dayby another couple whose friends had,had the same problem.so all i would say is beware.

Hotel was very clean, the food was not great but you could always find somthing to eat, the soups were quite good, main course was very basic but we never left the table without a full stomach.The loacation of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the resort.The staff were very nice. No entertainment, only a tv in the lobby bar. Dont change travelers cheques or cash at this hotel as the rate is not very good, go next door to the yellow coloured hotel you will get a better rate for pound. The bar in the lower rise part of the hotel is cheaper and the waiter called angel will keep you right. All together this is quite a good hotel, one of the best i have stayed in in my three visits to Bulgaria

The hotel is excellent, the location is superb and could not be cleaner. The hotel is spacious in both communal areas and in the rooms.
The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful.
The Bar Staff were particularly good.
There wasnt any entertainment in the hotel other than a music channel on a large screen tv in the bar area and the internet area for anyone that wanted to use it.
I would definately visit this hotel again.
The food was basic and a bit boring after a while but always edible it wasnt rubbish just a bit on the poor side. You could always rely on Pizza and Chips if there was nothing else.

The Hotel Globus is buetiful and is very clean apart from the swimming pool toilets.They are quite dirty because people come in off the beach.Our room is large and loveley I would like to stay again,there is one bad thing which is the food it is very baisic but you could always rely on pizza and chips.

Globus Hotel, Sunny Beach. Excellent hotel in great location. Rooms very spacious and very clean. Would return but go bed and breakfast as food was not great and choice very limited. Air conditioning wonderful. Indoor swimming pool excellent. New bar very good - 'happy hour' all night!

the hotel was in an excelent location,with the beach just across a footpath,and shops all around with good bargens.we found the staff very good,and you could have a laugh with them,though we did have to ask recption to have our minie bar refilled,bit slow.the food was edible,if not a bit cold fore our tast,the problem was there was no choice for children,there was no entertaiment at the hotel,but plenty in the bars all round,best way to see all the resort is by horse and caridge for about

The hotel Globus is a very nice hotel but the food is not very good because, most of the time the food was cold even when it was just brought out of the kitchen.There also was not enough choice.The music was very loud it would usually finish approx.2am.
