the self catering facilaties ok cooker fridge kettle and all utensils thats needed.the cleaners came every day.towels were changed daily. sheets every three days.hotel food was very poor and quite expensive.location was quite far from the beach and night life. with very dangerous kerbs and roads which were in a bad state of repare.the hotel staff were very helpfull and polite.there was no entertainment at all.they even took the pool table away while we were there.allthough it was coming to the end of season.but we still payed a lot of money to go there so should of had the same thing every one else gets no matter when we go.so on that basis i wouldnt go back there again.

We arrived at the hotel early hours, we had no hot water, the shower was on the wall with 1 screw, the toilet roll holder fell off the wall and they had the cheek to charge you if you broke anything. My kids which are boy and girl age 12-15 had to share a bed settee which was vary uncomfortable, so we saw the rep who was very helpfull and got us a folded up bed, every time you moved the wooden lats fell off. Dont ask the man to fix anything because hes the most miserable person i have met in my life and abit of deodorant wouldnt go amiss. The entertainment in the bar was that boring you could of fell asleep, people say you cant spend your money there well we did the only thing cheap is there beer which bloats you up and gives you terrible wind, and the cigs are cheap. You have to pay about 8 pound for 2 loungers and 1 parasol on the beach, you will have to pay beacause there straight there with there book. You get gharged everytime you need the toilet you go so i hope you dont have a bad stomach. Watch the children on the street begging they dont leave you alone. The aqua park cost 40 pound for 3 people which was rubbish! give me benidorm any day. The thomson rep and the flights were great i would never go 2 bulgaria again its the worst holiday we have ever had!

generally really lovely accomodation lots of space good pool. Entertainment was Karaoke every evening. (boring) but there is a bit of entertainment in the bars downtown. We stayed in room 363 and everyday reported that the water heater in the room was broken, each day the maintenance man came and fixed it (except 1 day when he forgot) A few bottles had been smashed on the balcony next to us and glass had come through to our balcony, We had to report it twice before our balcony was washed down. There are plenty of good places to eat, the ones near the beach are more expensive but further back from town they are really good value. I recommend a visit to Khans Tent for a good night with good entertainment. Nessebar is also good to visit by boat or bus. Bus is much cheaper only 1 lev.

Great apartments, very large and spacious with everything you need. The cleaners were in everyday with clean and towels and the beds were changed regularly. food down at the bar was okay we didnt eat there a lot I'd recommend going to a bulgarian restaurant as the foods great.

Location was good only a short walk to all the bars and beach. The staff can be a little stern but I think that's just their way, some were great.

Entertainmrnt sucked, same 2 people singing same songs but we were out everynight anyway, we only sat there for a while so we could all meet up and go out.

I would definitely go back to these apartments and recommend them to singles and families alike.

We had a fantastic holiday at Sun Village. The location may not be right on the beach, or at the busiest part of the resort, but you are not far away from either. The staff were excellent, very attentive, and kept the apartments spotless. The rooms were a great size with everything you needed. The pool is really good - our 3 year old had a great time in it everyday!! If you are thinking of going to this accomodation I would certainly recommend it - we are thinking of going again next summer.

we were also worried about staying at sun village, with the comments from last year. we were a mixed group of 14.I agree that there was no road or lighting last year as we visited sun village while staying at sunny beach. The lighting and roads are in now plus 5 or more hotel's have been built around this area. The local's are very friendly there was no mugging's or gypsy's jumping out from bushes we felt safe walking back to our appartment's the road leading to the appartment's was busy night and day. Some staff did struggle with the language barrier but then again so did we, we had a lovely maid called franka she made sure we had clean towel's every day and if we'd let her would have changed the bed every day. The rep's Tess & Mark were very helpful also. we would stay at sun village again without hesitation.Anyone who is going to sun village please dont let last years report's put you off staying at sun village. We all enjoyed our 2week's holiday .

Went to Bulgaria start of july with friends aged between 18-20 was six of us in total, hotel was really clean and our maid fatme was very friendly, hotel staff are very friendly and hotel offers nice meals & nice relaxed entertainment on a night time, thompsons reps marc and tess give us a chance to go on freestyle nights with the 18-30's when on them all including boat trips, showing you round all the best clubs, beach party, we recomend you take these up if given the chance. good to keep you going if your on holiday with friends, we can safely say walk up to the hotel after a night out was fine plenty of lights and taxis to get you back safe. pool's nice and big. id agree none of the comments from previous year should be worried about we had clean towels each day.

Just got back from Sunny Beach 1 week ago, had a brill holiday......Stayed in Sun Village Apartments, they were nice and clean, they were cleaned every day, we would go out for a walk in afternoon and come back to clean towels, clean bedding and clean apartment, just a few hiccups with this hotel, you have to be very careful in the bathroom, the shower basin is very small so the water runs right over in to the whole of the bathroom so when i stepped out i nearly slipped would of been a nasty fall if i had, this happened to a teenage boy he slipped and bashed his head and ended up having 60 stitches so do tell the children to be very careful because the whole of the hotel is tiled. Also there are no umbrella's on the sunbeds so when it is very hot there is no shade, there is only one snooker table which is charged at 5 lev which is penny's really but bang on half hour the young lad from the hotel comes up shouting game over, game over, regardless of whether you have finished or not, i myself had a couple of run ins with him.

There is no entertainment in the hotel, they had there first ever quiz night one night when we were there so hopefully that would of carried on depends on how popular it was, we were lucky the week we was there because we met a lot of nice people so the entertainment didnt really bother us what helped as well was happy hour between 9-11pm, didnt seem to bother the kids either because they met people and just played football around the pool at night.

Also the language barrier's are difficult, bulgarians know very little english, theres no problem with the barmaid/waitress's because you just point at what you want.
