The hotel rooms was excellent,it was quite large and air conditioned,we overlooked the building site next door but saw little progress.

The rooms were cleaned daily providing clean sheets and towels,I was pleased with this service and the provision that were made.

My main grouse was the restaurant, people were walking around with plates of warm soup and hot drinks-an accident waiting to happen.Once you had eaten the plate was whipped away before you could put your fork down. There was a severe lack of condiments for all the tables, you had to go in search every meal time. The food in the evening was digusting. Firstly it was cold, it did not resemble any other food I've eaten to date.

This hotel is damaging the Balkan Tourist trade. The local burger/kebab bar was doing a roaring trade outside this hotel, this was probably the best food that |I ate over the two weeks that I stayed in Bulgaria.

You cannot get a sun lounger near the swimming pool, so we had to rent a bed on the beach, this accumulated over the holiday period, so we bought our own lilo's, funnily the beach seemed to be owned by the hotel, so why did we have to hire sunbeds.

The lady playing the piano in the foyer tried her best to play classical music, which was not very entertaining.

On my last day for my dinner I had a banana sandwich, the food provided was un-edible and all tasted the same.I will not be visiting this hotel again because they have got to raise their own standards dramatically which they will not be able to do in a short space of time.

This hotel seems to have a dining room that is not yet finished;this might explain some of the chaos that goes on in this hotels over populated dining room.

We were booked into the Fiesta Beach, but since it hadnt been completed we were switched to the Victoria Palace. We accepted the change on the strict condition that we had a sea view and balcony.

arriving in the middle of the night the first impressions as we drew up were excellent, very large hotel and bell boys for the luggage. Check in is very slow and of course when we got to the room there was neither sea view or balcony, instead we overlooked a building site[lots o0f building work going on in sunny beach ]After complaining the next morning to the rep [mariella] who was excellent we got a move .

The room was very good , large clean , and right on the beach.Lots of others with the same complaints werent so lucky. Be careful of the baths , they are built up and are dangerous when getting out.

The food is poor , and its like a cattle stampede at meal times, so most people ate out in the nearby bars which are good value for money. Also the maids are constantly mopping the tiled floors which makes them deadly. The hotel staff dont seem very friendly and the reception was a continuation of unhappy people.

Sunny Beach itself is good value for money , cheap beer, food, T shirts etc, but the one thing that drove me nuts was the constant harrassing from the traders and bar owners to come in and buy, they never leave you alone, and there are hundreds of them.

Would go to the resort again but pick different hotel etc.

After reading a lot of bad reports prior to travelling to this hotel, i was releived to have had a fantastic time here and am looking forward to returning here.

The hotel was by far the nicest on Sunny Beach. The hotel was very busy as people from two uncompleted hotels were moved there too. There were a lot of people moaning, although most were being difficult. The staff tried to deal with this as best as they could and I found most of the staff very friendly.

The food, like most buffet's not as hot as freshly served food, but it was lovely and some of the best I had on holiday. There were loads of dishes to choose from such as chicken, pork, turkey, beef, salmon, serving at least four per night and various potato and veg. As we are both fussy eaters I was surprised how much we enjoyed the food. As the hotel was full and there was only 500 seats in the restaurant it sometimes took a few minutes to find a table, although we always managed to. This was due to everyone wanting to eat at the same time. Between 6.30 and 7.30 were the busy times, altough food was served from 5 till 8.

The rooms are large and decorated to a very high standard. They clean the hotel 24 hours a day! Rooms are cleaned every day with clean towels every day and linen changed twice a week. We didn't have a sea view, but this is just your luck when you arrive. We overlooked a building site but due to hotels being build beside and behind the hotel, it unrealistic to expect everyone to get a sea view when the hotel is busy. Some people didn't seem to understand this! I can assure you the building work did not disturb our sleep or cause any problems for us. Some people are just highlighting the bad points of this hotel and looking for things to moan about.

The hotel is the nicest and most desired hotel in Sunny Beach. You make your own holiday so go and enjoy it!!

After hearing a lot of bad reports on the Victoria Palace we expected the worse but were pleasently surprised the rooms were large & clean the maid gave us fresh towels every day & changed bed linen twice a day we got a sea view & didn't even ask for one the staff were friendly & helpful though I don't know why with all those whinging Brits that were gatherd round the reception complaining about such petty things ie not enough drawers the bath is to high etc I think I would have swung for one of them, but no they kept there cool. The only thing like most of the reports I have seen is the food wasn't up to much but there are plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. the hotel is located at the northern end of Sunny Beach in a perfect location the area is quiet but just a stones throw from nightlife. All in all an excellent holiday

We were booked into the Fiesta Beach Hotel but we were relocated to the Victoria Palace Hotelas Fiesta Beach was still being built,On arrival First impressions of hotel was this is out of this world, However this illusion was quickly shattered reception could not find our booking we had to wait 3hours before we got our room the staff were very rude, unhelpful and dismissive. While waiting for our room we spoke to a couple who were staying there and they did not have a good word to say about it.On going for evening meal we were totally disgusted at the presentation and quality of the food it was enough to put anybody of.Most people we spoke to had been complaining repeatedly to the rep (Mariella who was excellent) about the standard of the food therefor were forced to eat out.Hotel was situated about 3 kilometers from the resort centre you have a 5 min walk to get a bus to centre.

very impressive on arrival
staff spoke broken english and not very helpfull
we booked 1 year ago ground floor room, but we were put on the 4th floor only to find other people whos hotel was not finished so they had been put in ours had first floor sea view.we had to wait 3 days to be moved, door lock and loo seat broken for the 2 weeks although reported 3 times, booked late checkout and got visited by managers 4 times to ask could the room be prepared for the next guests while we were in it???
needed to get a sunbed at 7am because other hotels use the beds because they are charged for theres but get ours for free,tv cameras were there filming and we could only use certain exits and parts of the pool, never judge a book by its cover???however great holiday i would definatly return to sunny beach 30 deg in the shade 25/06/04 it is as cheap as people say but i would not return to this hotel

We experienced a very quick & efficient check-in. We stayed in 2 different rooms here as our stay was devided by a stay in a mountain resort. The first room was absolutely enormous, with an equally enormous bathroom, very clean and well furnished, but no balcony as it was above the hotel entrance. The second part of our stay here was in a sea facing room with a balcony, almost as big as the first. The maid not quite so hot on the cleaning though, and the staff seemed to come in & out of the room rather frequently - not sure why!!
Beware of the glass topped table in the room, very unstable as my husband discovered to his cost (60 Lev!!).
The food arrangements are a bit basic (3*) with limited choice, but adequate if you didn't want to eat out.
We didn't discover any entertainment in the hotel, other than a pianist in the reception area, but we did have Euro 2004.
The reception areas are very clean and elegant (Egyptian-style) and the pool areas well-laid out. Despite notices to discourage this there are still towels reserving pool beds well before 7am.
The hotel is at the quieter end of the resort, which suited us, and it was only a short walk or land-train ride to the centre.

We arrived at this fantastic hotel on the 22nd June. First impressions were fantastic, reception area beautiful, staff were excellent. We can not say a bad word about this hotel except the entertainment was lacking and the food isn't all that great but apart from that we had a great time and have booked this hotel for June 2005.
