All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby
Keep away please.

Lovely place but a bit like blackpool. once you have walked up and down the front once or twice it gets a bit tedious. People very arrogant especially in the shops.

resort very busy would appeal to young 18 - 30 groups. families do go there but could do with better entertainment in hotel for families. plenty of bars, shops, restaurants, watersports, minigolf, fairground

Sunny beach is non stop entertainment and although you do get stopped to go to bars or restuarants they are not persitent and do leave you alone.I would recommend sunny beach as I had a really good holiday.
I went half board but would advise any one to go self catering as food in bars and resuarants was lovely, much better standard than hotel that we stayed in.

the beach was clean entertainment 1st class but youwere ripped off for sun beds & brollies if you wanted to lay on your towel you had to lay right at the back of the beach

the elenite village is an enclosed(gated) resort. there appears to be only other hotels nearby. it is very safe and our children were able to have some freedom due to this and that there are no roads here. it is lovely and clean. the villas part is alot quieter than by the royal park hotel etc. there was nothing about this place we didnt like- it is right on the beach-which is clean and ideal for kids. the grounds around the villas are gardens and well maintained. having read prev reviews it seems that perhaps standards in all areas have improved! we are going back asap.........

We did not really participate in the entertainment side prefering to go for a few drinks and a meal.
Beach was clean and parts of the beach you could lay your towel down with no charges. This was clearly stated on boards along the beach.
I would visit again but prefer Golden Sands. Simply because for us it seemed a quieter and smaller resort.

The majority of bars were ripping you off by not putting proper alcohol into your drinks the numbrer of times we had drinks and they had just lemonade in it. Also every time you bought a round of drink they made up the price they wanted to charge you defo would never return to Bulgaria

The beach:
Ok, if you have small children please be careful! There are so many jelly fish it’s un true.
We visited the beach on the first day just for a walk and a paddle and it is lovely, we sun bathed for a bit. The beds are 7 lev each and if you want an umbrella its another 7 lev, so that’s like £3.50 per bed.
On another day we rented a pedal boat and we only went out a few foot and looked in to the sea and could see about 5 jellyfish, the further we went out the more there were, we were shocked to see how close people were to them! So we didn’t really stay at the beach.
Didn’t really fancy getting stung (I mean we all know how your supposed to treat a jellyfish sting.. No thanks!)
The Fruit Men/Women!:
Ok, everywhere you go there are people on the street selling fruit. DO NOT stop to talk to them, they completely con you out of your money, they offer you a sample of fruit and then try selling you a bag, they do not leave you alone. We seen so many people getting conned after my Boyfriend got 40 lev stolen from him from one of the guys.
Please do not talk to them; there are plenty of fruit stalls so buy from them.
The Train:
There is a small train that stops out of the front of the hotel which takes you in to the Main Section of Sunny Beach, it’s only 3lev each and it’s worth it, very bumpy ride but it definitely beats the half an hour walk!
The Beach Front:
This is the place you will spend most of your holiday, it has all the bars, clubs, shops etc on. There are some lovely restaurants and the staff are lovely. Having the beach as a view is perfect.
There are plenty of stalls and stops to go to.
The prices of the meals we were having were brilliant in some places, Bulgaria is so cheap.
It’s about a 10-15 minute walk till you get to the main bars and restaurants so it’s not to bad.
You will obviously find your own personal favourites.
There are plenty of Miniature Golf courses, (I found that out because my boyfriend was obsessed with them)
Nessebar:
We took a small boat over to Nessebar old town, boat ride was lovely (if you don’t get sea sick haha)
Once your there its a short walk to get to all the stores and bars etc.
We took a walk around and there are some brilliant places, but i’ll leave that up to you to explore!
My Recommendations
Instead of going to the beach, there are plenty of whole day activities you can get up to, just ask your REP she will tell you all about them, and when your being told the price, just half it and its English price, they are bargains!
Bars & Restaurants:
Simply Mikes bar/restaurant (on the strip going right out of the hotel)
Jacks bar/restaurant ( in the main centre of Sunny Beach)
There was a brilliant Italian Restaurant on the left as you come out of the hotel it’s on your right! Amazing pizza
We were in to drinking and dancing so best place to do that is:
Iceberg – club (Centre)
Viking Beach Bar – Strip
Shooters Beach Bar - Strip
Amigo Beach Bar - Strip
Coyotes Ugly – Strip
Ole Ole – Centre
End
We enjoyed our holiday, we hope you enjoy yours.
Thank you for reading and I hope this helped!
