Hotel staff excellent - tried to help with anything asked of them. I wasn't happy with the first room offered to us and they gave us keys to every other room they had available so that we could choose which one we wanted. Didn't charge for an upgrade. Not all the rooms have a balcony though, and those that didn't don't have access from the room to the garden/pool. If you are on the ground floor, the only way out is via the corridors of the hotel.
Rooms are quite large and colourful.
The pool area was lovely, all the rooms surrounded it.
Very small friendly hotel that other holidaymakers and locals came into in the evening but it never got too crowded.
Salsa evening was good, food good.
Rooms were okay but had to send for more crockery etc. They have ice machines along the corridors which was excellent.
Down side is that you have to cross a busy road junction to get to the hotel beach. They only have a few parasols on the beach and a very small area allocated to the hotel. This was the main drawback.
Beach staff were very helpful. You can go anywhere on the beach but most of the it was taken up by the very large hotels and their sun loungers & parasols. Beautiful beach though!
Nearby is the butterfly sanctuary (about 5 min walk). Some other shops about 15 min walk with a few restaurants but very little in the area of the hotel itself.
