the cleanliness was awful, rooms tiny, stuffy and dirty, had sandles on in room at all times.

The resort cleanliness was fantastic and i have commented on the resort entertainment and the beach.
I would definitely visit this resort agin in a few years time and would recommend it to family and friends.

Beach cleaned every morning, entertainment staff worked so hard, you don't have to join in with the activities, but a lot of people did choose to.
I am always reluctant to recommend hotels or resorts, tastes are different, and resorts change, but I would recommend this hotel and resort for a hotel, beach based holiday.

The resort it self was very quiet and there was very little to do, infact towards the end of our 2 weeks we were very bored.
There was plenty of sunbeds available on the beach however most days you could not get any beach towels! which are included with your package and if you did manage to get any they were not very good quality.
I would not visist thsi hotel or resort again as there was not alot to do.

The resort is clean but it needs a refurb badly. The entertainment is dire at times and ok if you like dancers!

The resort of San Juan is only really as big as the hotel you are staying as it is unadvisable to go out alone. That said there are some great trips and I would strongly advise Ocean World - not to be missed.

Thak you to all the staff at this resort.Our holiday was fabulous. Food, drink and accomodation was excellent. Entertainment was a bit repetitive but okay. Excurcions were good value for money except paradise island although the island was beatiful the travelling time was far too long consisting of 3hour bus journey, 30 minutes speed boat trip, 2 hours on the island and worst of all 4.5 hours back on the bus. When we return to Bahia we will not go on the pleasure island trip, but all other trips were good.

The area within the hotel grounds excellent, very remote with nothing going on outside. If you like to leave the hotel grounds and wander around local shops and towns this place is not really for you. There were a few shops within complex but nothing else. The beach although not white was very clean and well kept, the sea was clean and clear.

Say Dominican Republic to some people and you will get a very negative response - however, we have been twice now (got married out there the first time) and I can honestly say we will go back. I was a bit nervous taking our two year old out there, but I needn't have been at all - in fact the resort was probably more geared to coping with kids than some places back home!
