Stay away from the ladies dress in brown claiming to be hotel staff giving out invitations to a club presentation. It’s a timeshare and they are lie.

Outside our hotel compond I found Jamaica pretty dismal. Lots of rubbish and old rusty wrecks of vehicles lying by the side of the road. Lots of shanty towns and shacks. The coastline was very rocky and some of the sea shore sand was like the volcanic sand. The higher up you venture the greener and lusher the trees and plants get, tropical forest-like. We did not venture outside our hotel for entertainment, although a couple of friends we met there did and found it ok but you kept your wits about you. As I've already mentioned the beach was a bit disappointing mostly rocky and the sea wasn't that clear. Negril is the Jamaica you see in the brochures and adverts. I may return but only because it was where we got married.

Like most A.I. places within areas of poverty the hotel and grounds were immaculate and a stark contrast to the local conditions. no entertainment outside the complex unless on organised tours. the beach was man made.

There where 3 beaches but they where not all that big, the only downside was you could not go off the resort.

The resort was one of the cleanest we'd seen so we were pleased about that.

The entertainment was the best they really went out of there way to involve you in all the games and if you didn't want to they were ok. I did the aerobics everyday. The bike tour is a great way to see the local communities which they do free twice a week. They also do pool volleyball most days.

They work 6 days a week and they have so much energy and they just want you to enjoy your holiday. People moaned about the team been too noisy but there’s a quiet pool for them, so don't need to be moaning! The beach was amazing they have pedaloes, glass bottom boat trips which is fab as you see the reef and all the different fish, kayaks, hobbi cat which is an excellent banana boat which my husband was on everyday.

I would love to visit the resort again in the future, trying Cuba next year.

There was more included activies than we saw advertised in the brochure, these included:

- Waterskiing
- Banana Boat
- Pedalos
- Kayaks
- Sunfish Boats
- Glass Bottom Boats

The entertainment team were great, didn't force you to get involved if you didn't want to..

Beach was nice and the sea was lovely and warm...

The Swing bar on the pier was really cool.

The beach was cleaned every morning by Denton - the friendly beachcomber/lifeguard/glass bottom boat-man! He would come along very early and rake up any seaweed that had washed up overnight.

Plenty of sharp rocks in the water - don't go in without beach shoes.

The reason I would not visit this resort again is that the world is too big!!

If you can get over the long trip, very slow customs, and dodgy drive to the resort, its great. Totally relaxing, lovely weather, great food, lovely people, youll love it. If youre idea of a holiday is a few trips, warm sea, golden sand, cocktails on tap, and superb food - this is the place for you. Entertainment - some good night, some awful, but youll never please everyone all of the time. Will definately go again as the most relaxing holiday weve had. Good value for money.

The resort doesn't have much to offer in the line of entertainment, it is quiet and very laid back, not the best beaches here, but nevertheless adequate.
