Stay away from the ladies dress in brown claiming to be hotel staff giving out invitations to a club presentation. It’s a timeshare and they are lie.

The bungalows were cleaned daily and had plenty of towels. The gardens were a delight and very well kept.
Well what can you say about resort entertainment!! mr.& mrs.rdcc (both weeks)and other similar nights(shades of Butins!!) but in between there was some very good evening entertainment by artists who could sing, especially Albert!! he was fantastic.
The beach was cleaned every day and tho' not very big was very nice.
One big fault tho' was the size of the pools, very small
and limited access whilst pool games were being played.

There is really no comment to make about Runaway Bay as you can't really call it a resort. Everything here is hotel based and the nearest town is Ocho Rios about 20 minutes bus journey which is good for duty free shopping.

Entertainment was samey, with same reggae band all week, but entertainment staff tried hard. The weekly "market" was good, allowing purchase & haggling without the intimidation of going 'off campus'.
The trips were good, but Jamaican roads & driving is hair raising - not for the faint hearted!
Resort bar staff tended to "do their own thing" with the music, which was often too loud & hard reggae we did not appreciate.
All in all, a great holiday. Would probabley not return as it was the 2nd time to Jamaica & we want to see more of other places (and can't face anymore Jamaican roads!!!!).
