Our first visit to The Atlantica, a perfect hotel for both adults and children. Definitely worth a second visit. A family hotel rather than a singles hotel. Staff were great and friendly. Swimming pool area was cleaned every morning. Meals inside and outside were fantastic. Only one thing which is lacking from this hotel is outside entertainment. Families holidaying at the Atlantica were all friendly and the kids made lots of new friends.
Looking for a hotel in Cyprus to top this next year!

We were dissapointed on arrival to not have our rooms allocated together as we booked a year in advance. One room was in a poor state shower sink toilet and fridge not working on arrival. If you are staying self catering the facilitys are poor two rings a kettle and fridge. The pool was overcrowded in the day and getting into the ballroom at night was impossible, The staff are first class and do make the holiday enjoyable, if you have kids they will make lots of freinds, a safe enviroment not to far from bars and retaurants most serving good food.
Overall after our initial problems we got on with it and had a good holiday.

This hotel is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The food is good and plentiful. Spotlessly clean. The rooms are a good size and are cleaned daily. It has a lovely pool which was warm and we spent all day in and out of it. If you want to be away from the pool there is a lovely grassed area with sun beds and tables and chairs where you can relax close by the indoor pool. There is an adults only bar where no children are allowed after 10pm. This is nice if you don't like noisy entertainment. As a speciality you can have your evening meal beside the pool. This is usually a themed evening (Italian, Chinese or BBQ)and it is all cooked by the chef in front of you. Marvellous.
A really nice touch was the management invited new guests to a cocktail evening in the grounds and laid on cocktails, wine and nibbles - a lovely way to meet new friends.
A great time had by all. Will be back again next year.

Stayed in atlantica, bit apprehensive after reading what people said.
Found the hotel very clean, maids cleaning constantly. Food, repeated itself weekly but edible.
Set opposite a great english pub, "the nags head" or just round the corner from a long strip of shops and bars.
When we were there unfortunatly, there was an entertainment staffing problem so we nevwer stayed in the hotel to see it, hopefully as season picks up, so will the entertainment.
Lovely pool, couldnt fail it, ok, lots of kids but thats holidays these days.

We stayed at the Royal Court Appartments which is part of the Atlantica Compex. We had a great time, the appartment was very large and had 2 balconies. The view was over the lovely gardens. although the appartments had its own pool, we spent most of our time over at the main hotel about 3 mins walk away. We originally booked self catering but upgraded to all inclusive for 4 days. This gave us the flexability of trying the local bars and resturants. The food at the hotel was very good and we felt the staff were very friendly and helpfull. especialy our maid Soufule. The only negative was the aircon in the lunge in the appartment was not very effective. We are certenly going back to this hotel.

*First Impressions*
We arrived, after a great flight, at Hotel Atlantica at about 5:30 p.m. and the reception was marbelled and very clean with a lovely water feature. Very Good first impressions.
*Rooms*
There were three of us sharing a room (me and my friend, both 16, and her nanna) There were two double beds and bunk beds. There was also a T.V. which showed a great film for after a tiring day before dinner. The balcony was small and our view wasn't great but that didn't bother us as we didn't ask for a specific view. The bathroom was very clean with a bath/shower, toilet, sink and large mirror. The rooms were cleaned 6 days (I think) and the same goes for clean towels. Rooms were very good.
*Food*
The food was very good, large choice available. For breakfast you could have toast, fruit or a good old fry-up! Throughout the day there was a buffet inside which you could pay for (free to all inclusive), the same went for a fast food stand and...the hotel's very own Pizza Express! The prices were very acceptable too, about 3 Cyprian pounds for a pizza. For the daytime I recommend the ice cold milkshakes (especially the chocolate and banana). The evening buffet was large and you could have soup, salad or appetisers, there was generally some sort of carvery on every night (pork was served alot). A lot of vegetables and luxury desserts for after. There is a childrens section for chicken nuggets, burgers, baked beans, chips etc. which i did go for myself sometimes (im such a big kid!) The restaurants in the area were very good and good prices, especially the Nags Head across the road.
*Entertainment*
We stayed by the pool most days even though I did partake in some daytime activities including water aerobics every morning (relaxing and refreshing) and each day there were different activities including archery, football, boules, table tennis, water polo, water basketball etc. anybody at any age could join in but it was great for the kids. I went in October and there were quite a lot of children but the pool is large and was never over crowded and there were always sunbeds. There is also an indoor pool which nobody tended to use, along with gardens. This area is quiet and a good sun trap wen it starts to get cooler in the late afternoon. There is an arcade inside near the reception area and a quiet piano bar. At night time the entertainment wasn't too great! there was a cheesy magician and a few singers. They have bingo every night thought so you can try and win some money before you go drinking. We spent alot of our nights karaokeing in Happy Jacks, a Scottish bar but so many people from anywhere in UK. A Great atmosphere the staff are great!
*Staff*
The staff are very friendly and will help in any way that they can. Our rep was never to be seen unless we wanted to go on a trip. The restaurant staff like to get people in and out quickly so they tend to get in there and take your plate as soon as you put down your knife and fork.
*Cleanliness*
Everywhere was very clean. There was always a cleaner somewhere and I saw the pool and the pool area being cleaned every morning.

This is the second year we have visited the Atlantica hotel. The food is lovely, ample and varied.Around the pool you can have pizzas, kebabs burgers chips etc.The pool area is kept very clean along with the rest of the hotel, any mess and they will clean it straight away. We stay all inclusive all the time and this hotel is brilliant for that. The hotel is quite a distance from the centre of Limassol but there are pubs, clubs and shops on your doorstep. There is also a good waterpark a short walk from the hotel and a small lunar park for the kids and of course a brilliant McDonalds if you fancy a change (much better than the ones at home, hot food and very clean!)A trip into Limassol is a must, shops close half days on a Saturday much to my disappointment but a visit to the Time Elevator is well worth it.If you go with Thomsons book a day on George's Fun Bus an absolutely fantastic day for all the family. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The entertainment was varied but the room got very full and you had too be there very early to get a seat.In the evenings they put films on for the children to watch which gives the parents a short break.Overall this is a brilliant hotel and Cyprus is a fantastic island!!!

Hiya, Im 16 and stayed at the atlantica hotel last july and had the holiday of a life time. I met...wait for it....42 friends all around the same age as me some a few years older some a few years younger!
the entertainment at the hotel was good as the animation team were so friendly! It was so good i begged to go back this year but my mam n dad r always up for trying something new! They also had a brilliant holiday! I think that the hotel was suited for all types of families.
The pool area was always very busy but if you fancied going somewhere to get some peace and quiet they had beautiful gardens with sun loungers so that you could lie there. We originally went to the hotel self catering but upgraded to half board as it was very cheap. You could also upgrade to all inclusive which we did not do but wish we had.
Do not be fooled when you get off the coach, the place looks like a bit of a dump but i am sure you will be amazed when you get inside and are greeted with orange juice and wine. The holiday really was everything id hoped for and would jump at the chance to go back again!!!!

The hotel is surrounded by appartments and non-residents appear to have free access to all facilities within the hotel.Consequently the pool area is often dangerously overfull and sunbeds are at a premium.Young children run around freely in groups of a dozen or more and accidents are fairly common. The restaurants try to cater for families with children on the first sittings which is fair enough but it means there are seldom any seats in the entertainment area
for those on 2nd sitting to enjoy the cabaret, again numbers are swelled by non-residents.
The staff certainly try their best but they are clearly overworked.
