Location
The room were spacious but they had a few light bulbs not working, we reported this straight away, and all but one got replaced.
The hotel offered us an upgrade to all inclusive for CYP13 per person per day, so before we decided what would be the best value for money, we decided to check out the local bars for their food prices.
On doing this we discovered that the all inclusive was extremely good value for money, so we book the full week.
Breakfast
The breakfast was buffet style but plenty of variety, I enjoyed my breakfast every day.
Lunch
Served in the main dining room, again buffet style, but plenty of variety.
Mid afternoon snack
This was served by the pool and offered a menu of choice.
Evening dinner
Again served in the main dining room, plenty of variety, at all meals you could have your choice of drinks, a choose red wine, which came served in a carafe.
Bar Service
The bar maid was rushed off her feet, and found it difficult to cope, but we always managed to get served, cocktails before the evening meal and Irish coffee after.
Mountain Bikes
The all inclusive package allowed you unlimited use of mountain bikes.
One day we had a coach trip so we booked a packed lunch, it was probably the best packed lunch i have ever received from a hotel.

Food good but often only warm, make sure you go into restaurant at beginning of set meal times (7.00 am and 8.15 pm), it was often warmer that way, although never hot. At breakfast time, make sure you use the orange juice machine next to the coffee machine and not the children's one, it is much nicer.
Food at the pool bar was okay but often took a great deal of time to arrive. Waiters often lost orders and you would wait over 45 minutes for a pizza.
Hotel entertainment was very poor. Although wouldnt want to be involved during the day, hardly ever saw them around the pool. Evening entertainment was worse, kids disco, bingo and then show starting at around 10.00 pm for 45 mins. Only decent shows were from entertainers bought in (two shows in ten days) and these were magician and singer. Shows provided by entertainment team, cheap and poor.
There were some difficulties with the bingo in that the entertainment team said all money taken in was given out in prize money. Unfortunately the takings were counted backstage and did not appear to tally with the takings and, without alleging anything, I spoke with the entertainment team and, lo and behold, the prize money for that night rose by a substantial amount without any noticeable increase in guest numbers. Take from that what you wish.
Pool area was good, however the road noise from main road is very noticeable if you sit at certain parts of the pool. Guests have the opportunity of using the pool at the Atlantica Gardens complex which is a short walk away (5 mins). This pool, although not as large, is quieter if you just want to relax and beds were always available. There were some problems with the parasols at the Atlantica Gardens in that several were missing the metal pins that hold up the canopy and, although this was reported, it was not rectified. Maybe future holidaymakers should pack some six inch nails in their luggage!!
All inclusive was valid at the pool bar at the Atlantica Gardens and you could also get breakfast over there, but we never tried it.
Hotel staff, although most were efficient, they hardly ever seemed happy in their work.
Rooms were adequate, although lighting in our room was poor. Please note that if you are on an all inclusive basis, you have to pay for the use of the fridge. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room either, these were also available at an extra cost. No toiletries provided in bathrooms, only soap!
There were some difficulties with guests smoking in clearly marked non-smoking areas of the hotel and staff did not appear to enforce this and would hand out ashtrays willy nilly. Although this was reported to the hotel, this was another matter that was not rectified.
Thomson allocate this hotel 4T but definitely not up to that standard.

We were pleased with our room, spacious, clean and modern, although not too keen on being on the fifth floor with a curious 4 year old. Our room looked out over the pool and gardens.
The breakfast buffet varied from day to day, with plenty of choice, hot and cold, with plenty of fresh fruit and fruit juices. The evening buffet catered for everyone, with local specialities, vegetarian meals and a childrens buffet. Our daughter enjoyed trying the different meals on offer instead of asking for her favourite pasta everyday.
The Dining Room staff were friendly and welcoming, and accommodated our requests. We enjoyed trying the different local wines, but the hotel was waiting for a delivery and one evening we chose wines they did not have in stock. As a gesture of goodwill to make up for our disappointment, we were given a complimentary bottle of our favourite wine. One evening all the children were treated to a fruit juice cocktail!
Our daughter is particularly fond of pancakes, these only appeared on the menu once during our two week stay. The friendly Sous Chef, Panikos, was often in the Dining Room talking to guests. We took the opportunity to ask him if pancakes would be on the menu again, he very kindly offered to make some especially for her the next evening! I am pleased to say he kept the promise and she enjoyed her pancakes!!! We found out that we could exchange a lunch for dinner and eat out in the evening, which we did once.
The Housekeeping team were very visible, keeping both bedrooms and public areas clean and neat. We used the pool (usually after a day out), and the childrens playground in the Atlantica Gardens.
Outside the Hotel, what a surprise! We enjoy exploring when on holiday, and do not spend much leisure time in the hotel. Limassol as far as we could see, consisted of the main road, hotels and apartment blocks, bars, cafes, hire car and tourist shops. No beach to speak of. Too tourist orientated.
We explored Cyprus by using buses and a hire car. The bus stops are on the main road close to the hotel. The Number 30 bus takes you to the Old Harbour and Old Town of Limassol, for

Good rooms maid service excellent. very friendly staff. food is great , pizza express pool bar, loads of choice, very good all inclusive menu. Be warned cats everywhere when your outdoor eating.
Hotel location not what we expected at side of very busy road. No nice walks and surroundings no golden sands ,only rocks and black sand.
Hotel staff very friendly. daily entertainment round pool excellent, boat races , aerobics.waterpolo, keeps you entertained all day.
The evening entertainment is a big let down should be outdoor. Small stage what is part of dinning room, very boring no atmosphere. Stage entertainment naff most of the time. Although the hotel is nice and excellent food.
I would not go back to this hotel as it lacks outdoor entertainment, and the surroundings are poor.

Brilliant choice of food around the pool aswell, pizzas are fab. cater well for children.
Staff are excellent cant do enough for you. Rooms are spotless and maid service is every day with towels changed every other.
Big outdoor pool which is very clean with good activities for children and adults.
Evening entertainment is centred around the kids to about 9.45 (which I found was great)then they do bingo till about 10.15 with more adult themed entertainment till 12.00 or their is a singer in the bar most nights if you prefere.
Hotel location is a bit out of way but taxis are cheep if you want to go into town which is quite big with lots of named shops but hotel is that good did not feel the need to go out looking for something to do!
Waterpark is a must fantastic day out even though its not that big. brill for young children aswell as there is a lot of big slides they can go if they want to .Order a packed lunch to go as they are quite good.
Would recommend this hotel as we had a fab time and would come back again.

The hotel itself is excellent, with a great pool area and lovely gardens area. The bars are nice also, with air conditioning and comfortable surroundings.
The staff are fantastic, they are so welcoming and friendly and will go out of their way to help you.
I would definitley recommend this hotel to friends and family. We are thinking about going back next year.

Great air conditioning in rooms and bar.
Very well organised in restaurant and great atmosphere.
Excellent indoor and outdoor pools and very well cleaned.
Kids club with First Choice was excellent. Best have been on so far. Thought entertainment at night was quiet boring for adults but excellent for kids and at the end of the day if you have kids this is the hotel for you.
Just been home for a week and am booking for this hotel for October, and also for next year.

Accommodation was very spacious as we had two rooms joined by a door so we had privacy as well as our two boys. 1st impressions were excellent overall on apartment and hotel complex.
Rooms kept very clean by maid and towel change every other day. Welcome pack on arrival for self catering which is a good idea after the long travelling to get here. A price comes with this 4.95 CYP, which to be fair was water (large), bread, milk, cereal, jams, coffee and Tea so not too bad.
Atlantica gardens was a peaceful side to the complex, so we used the main complex with the larger pool. Met lots of friendly people for all areas of the UK.
Loads of sun beds, but still had to get there by 08.00 to get one! Before 08.00 and the staff will remove them and they really do remove them. We still managed to scrounge some after we slept in late. (Around midday)
Entertainment little poor for size of the hotel. caters for about 900 and there were 800 in the 2 weeks we were there mid july to begin of August.
But thats why we go Self Catering so we can go out, but still not alot outside of the hotel. Loads of Kareoke' bars, still quite amusing.

The hotel was very clean, towels were changed every other day. The food was great, the chef came round your tables at night to see if everything was ok. Oonly one problem was that the bar service was very slow and some nighs you never got your drinks, not the staffs fault they worked really hard just not enough of them.
You had to go down to the pool about 8am to get a sun bed in a good spot and stay with your towels until the pool had been cleaned or they could clear them away (no joke). Met loads of nice people from all over the UK.
We would visit the hotel again.

Rooms are spacious. Air conditioning is very good.Rooms are cleaned every day & towels are changed every other day altough you are asked to reuse towels for the sake of the environment. Great idea.
We requested quiet adjoining rooms. We got adjoining rooms overlooking the pool area. The duty manager was very helpful on the occasions that I complained about other guests making a racket by the pool at 2 in the morning. If these were quiet rooms I am glad that we weren't in 'noisy' ones! Light sleepers beware.
The public areas of the hotel are fine although the bar area was a bit of a mess in the evenings. Too few staff.
The pool area was kept very clean and tidy. Pool was delightful although a little crowded. Reserving sun beds at the crack of dawn is discouraged but still happens. Some daft people do leave towels on a sunbeds all day without using them. Very selfish!
Food was buffet style at breakfast, lunch & dinner and was fine. During the day, pizzas , burgers, salads etc. can be ordered from the bar area by the pool.
If the hotel were in an alternative location I would think about visiting again but the location lets the hotel down.
