Went here in May and it was the best holiday we have had was a bit wary as we had been to Cyprus before and the accomodation wasn't up to much and having read some of the reviews was not sure what to expect. It was brilliant the food was excellent we were here for 2 weeks and we never ate out once you didn't have too. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the entertainment team were the best we have seen .I must say the Kid's club reps do a 1st class job my daughter Morgan(4) didn't want to leave and still talks about them saying how much she is missing them.We are going back next year we also had two 12 year olds with us and they can't wait to get back which I was surprised at as at home nothing pleases them you know that age !!!!I just wish people woulds put in good reviews as quick as they do bad ones anybody going here will love it the studios are a great size and we got one for the girls so they had a flat to themselves .It is spotless and everyone is so nice Iwould recommend this to anyone

I stayed at the hotel with my husband and daughter, her partner and baby.

The hotel is quite far out from the centre and you most definately need a car for the duration. On our stay we were given room numbers 1018 and 1019 which were alongside a room that was unused due to a fire last summer.

The rooms were at the top of the stairs from the supermarket and the balconies opened out on to a flat roof.

On the last night before we came home after returning from a meal we found both rooms had been burgled we found out from the local police that these two rooms had been robbed before. The hotel staff were quite unsympathetic to this.

The entertainment was adequate almost brits abroad and the bar staff would have cracked had they smiled.

Look for a more central accommodation and if you do go insist on a room that is overlooked by cctv or cannot be accessed from a balcony. Unless they have put exterior lighting to those two rooms above avoid at all costs!!

We stayed at the Elini holiday village in October. The weather was lovely.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly the entertainment staff were ace alway happy and bubbly.

The pool is fab my children loved it they were in it most days and was very hard to get them out of it. There was a small beach area close by which we went to 2 days of our stay.

The town centre was only 5 min away on bus which was only cheap 50 cent for children and 80 cent for adults Fat Mammas is a must when in Cyprus its ace. They have entertainment on and the food is lovely I would go back and stay in the Elini everything about it was good.

We have just had our 3rd visit to Eleni and we have booked again for next year already. We had a fab, fab time and cannot complain on anything. There were 22 people in our party and could not wish for any thing better.

My husband and I took all the group on a sightseeing trip for 1 week of our holiday, we hired off road vehicles which was brill. We will not go any where else people say Cyprus is expensive, ok it is but only as much has you want it to be.

It's out of the way but that's good you do not get the hustle and bustle of traffic and drunks.

Ok we drink too but it's a family affair so you limit your self. Drinks are more expensive on site so buy your beer from the local shop and store it in your fridge.

We can not fault Eleni, only this year there was more ants than usual but it was not a problem, it's nature.

Anyway 10/10 for Eleni hip hip hooray.

We went to Paphos, Cyprus to get married, there was 28 in our party and we all stayed in the same hotel. This hotel was absolutely brilliant for families, dont be put off by the bad reports placed on this site as we all loved it.

The hotel is quite set back from the main attractions of Paphos but this is not a problem as the bus stop is only at the top of the street and is only 80c for adults and 50c for kids to go anywhere, taxis are also available and are with you within minutes the reception staff will always order these for you.

The pool is excellent for kids we found it hard to get our kids out most of the time, the food at the pool bar was lovely we didn't actually eat in the main restaurant as we ate out every night but I was told by others in our party that is was nice.

The entertainment staff Rio, Laura, Jenny and Ross were great kept all our party entertained day and night, places to eat out as a must as fat mamas, Chloe's chinese restaurant and pizza pepperoni at the top of the street.

All in all this holiday was brill and would recommend to any family thinking of going to Cyprus.

The rooms at Eleni were nice and very clean.

The location is dreadful, if we had known what we know now we would never have gone all inclusive as you are tied to the hotel which was a problem as the entertainment was a huge joke. If you dont like bingo your sunk.

Food was ok but a bit repetetive. Staff were ok. Pool was good but I was attacked at two oclock in the morning by someone living nearby and the only concerned member of staff was an elderly gentleman on reception next day. Management didnt want to know they only cared about broken patio funiture [broken by him not me].

I have stayed nearer Paphos before and found the people really nice. Dont know what happened at Eleni if you want entertainment dont go to Eleni.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Eleni hotel. The pool is excellent and the pool bar staff and food were excellent. Day time activities were suitable for all ages. Didn't like being told we were being lazy when we didn't join in.

Evening entertainment very poor it seemed easier to have Bingo than organise alternative shows and the kids disco was very repetitive.

Food could not be faulted. We did eat out a few times Fat Mamas must be tried but portions are huge.

Bus journeys were very good only 50 cents for children and 80 for adults and bus stop was a nice walk away.

On the whole we would go back to the Eleni.

The room was spotless, although ants were a problem and the bathroom stank throughout our stay, as did the hotel in general. One thing I would mention, that eventhough the air con is supposed to be complimentry, I still had to pay

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Eleni, the rooms & public areas were spotless, the pool area was fantastic, what a breath of fresh air to be able to get sunbeds & umbrellas with ease.

The staff were very friendly with the exception of one barman who could be a bit miserable at times. The entertainment during the day was good with Neli & Rio always enthusiastic & both had a good sense of humour, the nightime entertainment wasn't great, but i've seen worse.

The food was always good quality & well cooked but we found that the menu could have been a little more varied at times, especially at lunch times,at that time of day it's best to eat at the pool bar,the food there was great, all the drinks were excellent. The location of the hotel is a little out of town but you can jump on the bus with no problems,if you want somewhere quiet at night with no noisy drunks it will suit you down to the ground.

We went for a day out at the water park in Limasol & had a great time,it is a 1hr 10 minute coach ride though.

All in all a very enjoyable holiday.

We went all inclusive which ment the children could have as many ice creams as they wanted each day.

The poolside was cleaned each morning before most guests were up. As was the pool side bar. The maid who cleaned our room was very friendly even through the language barrier and nothing was to much trouble.

We all love the food the children tried most thing even though they were provided with the standard nugget, fish shapes and chips. Being all inclusive we could have as much as we liked and it never ran out. Resturant staff were great.

I am a non drive so we just got on the bus which stops a few minutes walk from the Eleni. They are also very cheap.

I had no problems with the staff. A couple of time we left things behind but always got them back.

Both children went to the kids club staff were great and as a childminder I should know. Darren from SwimKids was fantastic and both boys have thrown their armbands away.

I did bingo most night and there were different game through the day as well.

I would love to go back and have started saving.
