Location
The Eleni complex is immaculate, lots of greenery and flowers, and the rooms well maintained and cleaned frequently, and the staff friendly and understanding, a must, as we have 2 boys, 16 & 14. There has always been ample hot water and the bath towels are changed regularly. There are a few cats and kittens which can become unwelcome at mealtimes, but this all adds to the smaller childrens enjoyment.
The location is isolated from the main town, but that is why we chose it.The local bus service is very reliable and cheap, running both ways, one way to the town and harbour area, the other to Coral Bay. It costs 50p Cyprus to both destinations, and run till midnight. One word of warning the buses can become very packed, and you must move to the end of the bus if standing. If you do miss the last bus you will see or be approached by the numerous taxi-drivers driving up and down the main road.
The freshwater pool makes up for the rocky shore below. As the complex is centered on the pool, it can become very busy and noisy, but there is an excellent grass sun terrace to relax on, away from the bustle. There is a serious problem of early morning towel appearances on empty sun-beds, especially around the pool side, and I am sorry to say its a 'British thing', as I have never seen a German at Eleni before.
Not far from Eleni, 200yards along the coast passed the monument, is the St Georges Hotel complex, this has a unique beach bar which welcomes non-patrons to sample its food and drinks. It is a very special place from where to watch the famous Pathian Sunset.
On most nights they even invite you and the kids to take part in their party games.
Further beyond the St Georges complex along the coast, is the municipal beach. A man made sea water lagoon which is suitable for infants and teenagers alike. No fees, but sun beds are limited as is the sand to put them on, it is used fully by the local residents, who are very friendly.
We selfcater, and prefer to use the cheaper local shops and mini markets than the one on site, but it is functional in times of emergency. There are some large supermarkets in town, and opposite Eleni, on the main road near the bus stop is a half decent mini-market called Jaspers, which is resonable. The pool bar has provided some tasty and well prepared lunches that are very ample. We have not tried the restaurant as we prefer to eat out in the numerous bars and restaurants dotted about on the main drag nearby, Coral Bay, or in the harbour area.
Although there is some form of entertainment on most nights, it is something that we have rarely viewed prefering to wander off site to find our own. There is a Kids Club which seems very popular during the day, which suits the younger children, whilst the older ones congregate around the pool.
Overall, it has something, somewhere, for everyone.
Enjoy.

The hotel was so clean it was really nice our bed sheets were changed and the room tidyied every other day and the bins were emptyied every day.
The food itself was nice but there isnt alot for vegetarians we thought which was a great shame if there was more of a vegetarian choice we would have upgraded.
The hotel location right by a lovely little beach and not far from the bus stop if you go by bus to the town as thats quite far away at only 50c its great.
The hotel staff god they work some hours and they always manage to stay happy (with the odd exception) and they are so helpful even to the rudest of people. Always willing to help you out with any questions you ask and so polite.
The entertainment, I was once an entertainer myself so I know how diffiicult it can be some times when no one will join in games or people aren't very nice but hannah and craig and all the others who helped with the entertainment should be pleased with themselves they do their best always. Hannah though does have a particulary annoying laugh.
There is just one downfall and that is if you are flying home in the night then you have to be out of your room at midday you can pay

The pool area is large with fab views out to sea.
The buses are fantastic but before 1st May the latest bus is 7pm.
Entertainment is family orientated e.g. kids disco and not our scene at all but seemed popular with families there. The St George Hotel, virtually next door, is quite posh - happy hour in the piano bar from 6-7pm is great.

The room looked quite nice when I walked in but the beds and pillows were like paving slabs and I was awoken every morning by the gushing water sound of the waste pipe from the apartment upstairs that, although it was incased in thin wood to disguise it, actually ran down inside the room.
The room was cleaned about 4 days out of the whole week. The pool and pool area was very pleasant the indoor pool ok but a bit small and drab inside. I didn't try any food as I went out every day and night, although I did notice one morning that there was loud 'pop' music blasting out of the resaurant area at breakfast time.
I knew the Eleni was out of town but I didn't realise how far and as it was winter the buses didn't run after about 6pm the taxi fare varied form

We were all inclusive and found the food was of a really high standard loads of choice and all really tasty. You are not in the middle of things staying in this hotel but it is made clear in the brochure and the harbour is only a five minute taxi ride away.
The staff were lovely and the kids clubs were good.
Will be going back to this hotel for sure!!!
