The only thing I found bad about this hotel was the meeting of my 2 daughters who are both 14 and Cypriot boys who were around 17-19 in the hotel. The boys managed to get in the hotel via the fire door on the first floor landing. My daughters were walking down the corridor and there they were greeted by the boys. Being young girls they decided that they were going to continue to meet up with these boys. This concerned me slightly as the boys were quite a bit older then my daughters, so obviously I was concerned, my daughters then promised to stop seeing the boys. The boys no longer waited for my daughters but other girls who passed them. I bought it to the hotel's attention and they immediately got rid of them but alas the boys managed to get back in.
Other then this the hotel was brilliant, we had a fantastic stay.
The entertainment wasn't much but we didn't stay in very often anyway.
The staff were very nice, attentive to all our needs.
The hotel was very clean.
The food was cooked very nicely.

This was our honeymoon, and as soon as we arrived we were upgraded to a lovely apartment, with welcomed wine and fruit, with a Swan!
I really do think the hotel was superbly clean, the pay tv was !!
The cleaners were brilliant although one did knock on our room on our last day to get her tip at 6.30 in the morning! cheeky.
The entertainment was rubbish, you had to go out, the food was plentiful, just a bit bland!
we really did enjoy it there though, we had a great time.

I recently visited this hotel with my wife and two children ( aged 4 and 15 months ) . I was a little concerned about the hotel having read a few negative reports before I went , however , the hotel turned out to be excellent .
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly .
The food was Excellent , a varied choice each day with food suitable for both my young children . The daily snacks were great as well so you will never go hungry at this place .
The pool was very large but most of our time was spent bathing around the small childrens pool . I managed to get sun beds around the pool every day , sometimes I left it until about 9.00 am and you could still get beds .
The hotel was very clean .
The hotel is a few miles away from Paphos harbour , but it is only a bus ride away or for about

If you like sun sea good food friendly staff, then this is the place for you.
The bar staff are great. You never have an empty glass in your hand.
The beach is small and not child friendly. But there is a nice beach bar and sun bathing area. (Will I be going back?) "Like a shot"

We all had a fantastic week in the Laura beach hotel. Before arriving we specified ground floor accommodation.
On arrival we were delighted with our lovely spacious rooms on the ground floor. We understood these rooms to be a fairly new part of the hotel that they class as the bungalows. The bungalows had there own little bit of garden with table and sun loungers, and these in turn lead onto the beautiful well maintained gardens of the hotel
The pool and surounding area were lovely and clean, the pool was a lovely size and depth.
The food in my opinion couldn't be faulted plenty of variety fantasticaly cooked and prepared and plenty of it.
The drinks from the bar were always served by very friendly bar staff. In the evening there were plenty of people serving drinks to the tables, but you could always go to the bar and get a drink if you prefered.
My only complaint of the whole holiday was the evening entertainment. They had a main area where most of the entertainment was going on.This was fine if you had a young family as they seemed to me to be catering for those people. Then there was an indoor bar that they called Neros which played live music.
The music was very sedate and elderly people were ballroom dancing to it.There was another bar down near the pool that was closed all the time we was there. If they opened this bar and had a good lively disco in there, then there would have been something for everyone.
to sum up lovely clean hotel with fantastic food friendly staff beautiful pool and gardens evening entertainment a little bit dissapointing for our liking.

This was an absolutely fantastic hotel!
I had travelled with a friend and his familiy, this was my first holiday abroad and I was very sceptical about whether or not the hotel would live up to its reviews.
It was incredible, the service, the staff, the cleanliness was beyond my very high expectations. Especially the food, you can't go wrong with the variety that is on offer.
It was perfrect...I would recommend this Hotel to anybody, any nationality, or age. It has a very friendly atmosphere in which I met several friends of all naionalities, of whom I remain in contact with!
The only downfall to this hotel is the entertainment..although there are countless bars and pubs to suit every walk of life. Trust me this will not be a major factor!! Endulge your self in the beautiful scenery, people, culture. Or you can read the countless positive reviews about the Luca Laura!! ITS A DEFINATE MUST!!

We went for four weeks in Jan/Feb, hoping to get away from our winter at home and have some warmth. The hotel was freezing cold and the management kept telling everyone who complained (which was everyone in the hotel) that the heating was on all day. This was a complete lie! We were there for four weeks and the only time we got warm was when a large group of Cypriots came for the weekend. Then it was lovely but as soon as Sunday came it was back to no heating.
The indoor pool was extremely cold and impossible to swim in yet the staff kept insisting that it was 26 degrees. No one could have swum in that yet they treated us all like idiots. The staff were all well aware of the situation but all feared for their jobs and said they wished they could do something but of course, could not. As we were many pensioners who had gone for a winter break in the warmth it was a disaster. We were all wearing outdoor clothes and scarves whilst in the hotel and even in the dining room. Only during our last week when a lot of young people came in with children who really created to the management (one almost got to blows with the manager) did anything happen. These same people rang their travel agent at home who immediately rang the manager of the hotel who told him that he had not had any complaints! The lobby/lounge was full of people complaining! Many demanded to be moved and some flew straight home. One rep brought in her manager to do something for the young ones. Most people had had to change rooms as they were all draughty (there was practically a hurricane and torrential rain which came into the rooms from the balconies) But, after all the real, continuing anger from the younger people and the pressure from the reps' manager, the pool was finally heated so the children could go in.
As many older people had booked this hotel so that they could swim, for therapy as well as pleasure, it was a disaster. The worst of it is that when we wrote to complain to Argo they insisted there were no complaints. Unfortunately we were the only two guests with Argo and even our rep. - who was well aware of the situation, told her bosses that there were no complaints. What a debacle. I believe this hotel had a good reputation previously but certainly not now from anyone who was there in the month that we were. There was much more, too much to say here, but no way would any of us go back to that hotel

All was very nice. Plenty of food throughout the day. Pool was a bit on the small side and had to get down early to get a sunbed. However staff were very nice and the entertainment was satisfactory. Nice meal in the themed restaurant, made a nice change from buffet. The view was very good, beach was small but clean. Plenty of activities going on to keep the whole family amused. Bus stop outside the hotel so it's easy to get into Paphos and Coral Bay. We must have been impressed as we are going out there again this week!
