We have stayed at many All Inclusive Hotels, this Hotel was one of the best. The food was excellent throughout our stay. The accomodation was fairly basic, but very clean. The staff were friendly and the Drinks were good. The pool area was very clean, this Hotel also had it's own little beach as well. Overall we were very pleased, on the down side it was a half hour walk to the harbour, but nice if you walled along the beach front.

Just returned from a 2 week break in August. Best holiday of my life. Food brilliant, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff (always friendly and smiley) excellent location with private beach.
I will return !

I visited in 2002 before the recent refurbishment. Back then the rooms were looking a little tired but I assume that has now been rectified. And that was my only minor complaint.
The Ledra was superb, right on an attractive beach with a lovely pool surrounded by hibiscus and pretty gardens. The pool (freshwater and very clean) was more popular than the beach.
Food in the hotel was excellent especially the buffet breakfast with a huge choice. We only ate in the evenings twice as a 15 minute walk took you to a small area of pubs and restaurants. Everything from Chinese to Italian to local dishes - even English pub food if you really have to slum it. Beware though, the restaurants will have staff pestering you to eat there as you walk past - but they were very polite if you turned them down.
Across the road from the hotel is a mini supermarket and a small restaurant - again the food was good (4/5)
A ten minute taxi ride (or a longish walk if you are up to it) wil take you into the town of Paphos where again you will be spoilt for good restaurants - I'd certainly recommend going half board and get out to restaurants in the evening - you wont be disappointed
Back at the hotel, the entertainment was variable and often not my scene (not into karaoke I'm afraid) and the singers I heard on other nights were average. But during the day the entertainment girl (forget her name, German and very lively) certainly got lots of people involved. Normally I'm not one for joining in but was quite happy to have a game of waterpolo on a couple of occassions. Luckily the entertainment rarely became intrusive and the waterpolo only lasted an hour or so, so it didnt really disrupt those who wanted a more leisurely day by the pool too much. The German girl left a week after our visit so I dont know who is running the activities now. If its as good as it was then, then the kids will certainly have something to do for at least part of the day.
Staff were helpful but not overpowering and they made a real effort during the 'themed' evening meals.
Rooms were quite small but air conditioning worked well and we only went there to sleep so I didnt have anything to complain about.
Right by the hotel were the excellently run watersports - tip here, don't be afraid to sit down with the guys and work out a 'holiday package' - I got a really good deal including three trips out on the jet-bikes, a self drive of their little speedboat, parasailing, banana boat and as many goe in the canoes and pedalos as we wanted - we had a great time out on the water - very safe and excellent value compared to some places I've stayed.
And something else we discovered was the Aphrodite Water Park which is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Not as big as the other water park on Cyprus, but certainly big enough for a good day out with steep slides, lazy river and other unusual water features to keep you cool - definately worth a day out - but gets busy!
As for Dial-A-Flight - I cant praise them enough. Not only did they find me excellent flights when no other company could find me anything at all on the dates I wanted to go, but they did me a hotel/flight package which was excellent. The only thing not included was transfers but Paphos airport is only a 15 minute taxi ride to Ledra Beach so not an issue.
Overall a fantastic holiday, good hotel (although I'd love to go back and see what they've done in the refurbishment - I imagine it's even better now) and very well located - not right in the middle of town, but close enough to walk to bars and restaurants.
Would I go back? you bet.
