We stayed at the holiday village and found if to be a very nice hotel with excellant facilities and very friendly staff.

I was a little worried about the menu choices going all inclusive as im a very fussy eater but was very happy and supprised.

They had a excellant range of dishes to suit everyone even me, with theamed (Other culture based) nights. The location of the hotel was a little dissapointing, appart from a restaruant and supermarker across the road there was nothing else around if you wanted to go off the hotel you needed to take a 10 min bus ride in one direction to Coral Bay or 10-15 min the other for Paphos Harbour and the markets but the bus ride was very cheap and Taxis were quite resnably prices.

We found the hotel to be very Clean and the maid came to the room everyday in the week except for 2 which were the main check in day for arrivels so they were getting them rooms sorted for the new guests. we got to know the maid as we had the same one for the whole of our stay.

The entertainment on the complex was excellant and could not be faulted. The entertainment team worked very hard everyday from around 10 in the morning though to midnight and offered a range of day and night entertanments from fun fitness, Vollyball, Waterpolo, Killer Darts, Quizes, Lucky 13 and Bingo ect.

They were very friendly and easy to approach as were the Transfore and hotel reps who on there days off on a few occations joined with the entertainment staff.

I would certianly return to this hotel and would reccomend it to anyone thinking of booking was definatly my best holiday so far.

Upon our arrival we found the rooms to be of a poor standard, more like a basic self catering room as compared to the expected 4*. We informed the rep Rachel of this and she moved us to a room over looking the sea, although this room was of the same standard the view was amazing.
We are so glad we stayed here, the facilities of the Hotel are what makes it a 4*. The all inclusive food was superb and had a different theme each night, the Chinese night was excellent. The choices at the meals was superb and catered for all, we even had some of the kids stuff on a few occasions!
thei is also the option of an a-la-carte restaurant and you get a free sitting in it once a week, although we didnt take up this option as we liked the main restaurant food.
The snacks menu could be a bit more choice and would benefit from having the toaster available for the snaks period.
Good variety on the all inclusive bar drinks.
The waiting and bar staff are really friendly and curtious.
The hotel has a superb swimming pool of a really decent size. The daytime activities focus round this, with daily games of ater polo and volleyball, but if you dont want to join in, ther is plenty of room in the pool to enjoy space. The hotel also has a large indoor pool which is cooler than the outdoor one, a jacussi, gym, steam room and sauna.
On site mini-market thats open all day and till about 10:30pm, sells everything from lilos to daily english newspapers (another shop and bar on main road opposite hotel)
The entertainment team are fabulous. There is a kids club which has activities on for the kids during the day and the 2 girls are really nice and friendly (We dont have any kids). The evening entertainment suits all, starting off early evening with kids activities.
The evening entertainment is set round an outdoor stage, which is an excellent facility. No mosquitos about in the evening.
The entertainmen team are superb and all 4 of them have different qualities and will keep you entertained, infact the entertainment team made our holiday so enjoyable and we would like to thank Kez, Wez, Stevie and John for being so superb. They put on numerous daytime activities, the fun fitness in the pool is a good way to loosen off, darts/table tennis/football (Hotel has a floodlit tennis court). A daily lunchtime quiz.
The evening entertainment consists of some game show type games and a show from the Thomas Cook team, who put on an excellent variety of shows. This is so good, you dont have to leave the complex if you dont want to.
The location of the complex is about a 10 min bus ride from Paphos centre/harbour and about a 3 min bus ride from Coral Bay (Superb goldern sand beach here). All bus rides are 80 cents per person. bus stop right ouside hotel.

Ignoring the room standard (Not as if you use your room for anything other than sleeping and showering) rooms contain lounge area that has seteee and tv, with balcony, the complex is highly recomended and we are so glad we stayed here. The air con is superb (Infact was to cold if left on at night) and this is available with a

After reading some of the reviews on the hotel, we arrived with an open mind. We were part of a wedding group staying at various hotels and arrived here as a party of 4 adults and one teenager (aged 14) We arrived late at night and were more then pleased with the hotel.

It's beautiful, a large spotless pool, plenty of sunbeds, polite staff and a decent array of food. Those who complained about the food must be very fussy as everynight there was a good choice. Being all inclusive if you didn't like something you can always go for something else!

After the first couple of days we never saw my son. The place was not over run with kids but there were enough there to keep one another entertained.

The room itself was good large enough for the 3 of us not to be on top of one another, with a good size patio area, which was private...we hadn't asked for a pool view which would obviously be more public!

Coral Bay is good, going one way and Paphos going the other, buses run every 15 minutes.... and a small bay just behind the hotel which is good for snorkeling you can't really ask for more!

The entertainment was actuallly good fun too, if you allow yourself to get involved, it's not in your face but good fun if you take part, you can win quite a lot of money too!

The holiday reps were all genuinely nice people, who took the time to learn names and talk to you if they saw you round town, they really did work very hard and again weren't overpowering.

Overall I'd give it 4 out of 5 we had a fantastic time it was well worth every penny

Food did get a bit monotonous after 2 weeks but varied and something for everyone. Hotel was clean and pool area very clean. The location wasnt ideal but buses run every 15 minutes from just outside the hotel. Staff were friendly. And the entertainment was the best we have seen for a very long time. Kerry, John, Stevie and Wes made our holiday. They worked extremely hard to make sure everyone who wanted to get involved did. It was a 2 week programme so you didnt see anything twice. Fantastic team. Hopefully going back in october

We arrived at the hotel with an open mind however we are glad to say that our stay at Pathian Sun was a wonderful experience.
As stated in a few of the other reviews, the rooms are basic - but clean - this is the only negative thing I have to say.
The food was great and plentiful, the entertainment staff worked very, very hard and made the 2 weeks holiday a pleasure - I am not normally one for night after night shows but the themes and delivery of the shows was second to none.
A little disappointed that drinks day and night are served in 'small' plastic cups however I guess the concept of broken glass around the pool isn't great bearing in mind we had a 3 year old child to consider.
A wonderful holiday.

Resort very clean no complaints, staff were out of this world nothing was too much for them and they deserve medals.

Food was very good the choice was enormous so you could always eat something and it was nice to be shown to your table for every meal.

Hotel is only remote if you have not got a car or can not afford 80 cents for the bus!

Entertainment was excellent for the kids from 10am till 10pm.Really could not fault the place for the money paid for all inclusive, which is the only way to go at this resort as many other people upgraded to A.I. as it was such value for money.

Anybody who moans about the food, must have been reared on Cavier! My Wife is a very fussy eater but she enjoyed everything she ate.

The Rooms are basic, but we didn't go there to buy property.

The hotel location is about 3 km From Coral Bay, well worth a visit.

Hotel staff were magic. Entertainment was about the best we have had on all inclusive.

We would definately visit the Pafian Sun Again

Well we had a bonza holiday only gripe no mini club as such as was low season but kids find other kids and get on with it. Although there was entertainment staff who did ok.

The sunset from the pool is stunning.

Meals no kids menu low season but if you wanted the chef would cook something for you so no probs.

Situation a little bit out of Paphos but bonza private little cove for snorkling, chillsville was achieved hope to return again

Room wasnt cleaned totally, towels were past sell by date even clean ones looked dirty. Rest off hotel was very clean especially pool area. Food was cooked well too well sometimes, but fairly monotonous, repetative.
poor location need a cab at night unable to walk outside hotel grounds at night as lack of pavements and walking in the road is a NO NO as it is a very busy highway. Reception staff and bar staff were very polite and helpful. The entertainment was of very poor quality and the entertainment area was of a village hall stage and guest had to sit on white plastic chairs at matching tables, the sort found in our back gardens. We have been many places around the world staying at 3,4and 5 star hotels and comes no where near any of them.4 Thomas Cook suns equal to 2Thomson stars.
